Critiquing "thosewhostay7" as a Source.
Brian has vouched for this guy, twice, on the front page. However, if you go back far enough in his twitter feed, it appears he's a weird highschool kid who loves tweeting at recruits.
I don't know what Brian has on the guy, but an explanation would be nice, especially considering the gravity of the stuff he's posting. You don't just go from doing the above to eloquently narrating a backroom, high stakes contract negotiation overnight from a "source" that happens to be an NFL agent.
December 20th, 2014 at 1:52 AM ^
Look, I agree with you guys that he doesn't seem to be the most credible source. However, stating that you believe what someone is saying is not the same thing as vouching for what they are saying is correct, hence his statement "I'm not saying it's gospel, but it is a data point"
With so little useful information out there, he's putting anything that is remotely credible on the front page. If he's fully vetting everything that he puts on the front page, then he has nothing to publish because no one knows jackshit in this search.
December 20th, 2014 at 1:21 AM ^
Isn't he vouching for him here:
"I find the react posted by thosewhostay7 to be pretty credible;
That's not the first time he's called him "credible" either:
OKAY. I'M IN. Ran across a twitter feed that felt credible that claimed a connect to Harbaugh's agent, but I was hesitant to tell you guys about it until he put something out that was checkable and not public knowledge. Here's something from 4 PM today:Maybe this guy really is legit and Brian is correct to believe him. For the time being, his other tweets on that site make me have my doubts.

Pretty clear Brain was just wrong about him, it happens

I posted along these lines earlier: The dude is ace williams.
December 19th, 2014 at 11:03 PM ^
We might learn more tomorrow. A poster on the "edge of the internet", the same poster who posted the text about "getting the band back together", is saying that Harbaugh's agent is flying to Ann Arbor tomorrow. Those Who Stay says he isn't. Who will be correct?
Of course, we may not know, unless a "source" confirms that his agent has arrived in Ann Arbor sometime tomorrow.
David is not flying to AA tomorrow, contrary to reports. Unusual for an agent to do so alone without the client anyway.

I don't really trust what he says but does anyone know if it is weird for agents to fly without clients? I would imagine it wouldn't be that wierd when things need to get done (other than final signatures). However, why wouldn't Hackett fly out to meet the agent?
This coaching search has been draining. I am not sure if its better or worse than waking up 48 hours later and having a new coach like Nebraska. We shall see...
December 20th, 2014 at 12:20 AM ^
I actually would've thought that was the norm and it would be odd for the client to travel with his/her agent. I mean, that's why you have an agent right? To do that stuff for you?
December 20th, 2014 at 12:15 AM ^
Maybe ThoseWhoStay is the same guy from edge of the Internet

Rockie, the EoI poster, has a long track record on the Victors Board and Board 5. He's known to have real inside info, and he is very open with about his technological limitations (he copy and pastes emails directly from his source). He's an older dude who was a roadie for a hair metal band in the 80's... I'm sure he ain't tweeting.
December 20th, 2014 at 1:01 AM ^
some of us "older dudes" might be temporally challenged, but that doesn't mean we're not technologically "with it." (What's Twitter?)
December 20th, 2014 at 2:21 PM ^
Rockie, by his own admission, is a 50-60 year old bus driver who can barely use the dinosaur tech that Board 5 runs on. The idea of him begging for follow backs from teenagers is silly.
December 20th, 2014 at 1:24 AM ^
Interesting that once his credibility started to be called into question, he started name-dropping "David" all of a sudden.
If "David" is indeed Harbaugh's agent, I really wonder if he wants this guy spilling this kind of info.

I tend to not trust people on the internet if they dont put their actual name out there. Not an alias.

There is one source that I trust and his name rhymes with Slim Darbaugh.

Nobody, not even Harbaugh himself knows if Harbaugh will take the job. Hundreds of folks tweeting speculative bs, he probably is no different. Just don't follow him or others and wait for press conference if want 100% accuracy.
December 19th, 2014 at 11:08 PM ^
As someone else mentioned, Harbaugh may be going back to the dual agent approach he used last time. One agent worked the NCAA side and the other handled his NFL offers. I think it's pretty clear that Thosewhostay7 is purporting to know the NFL dude Dunn. In that case both could be correct. The college agent could be coming tomorrow. It would make for an epic smokescreen by JH.

This guy knows nothing. He is exactly as you said, a HS kid trying to break some fake news. I'm not sure why brian even brought this guy up (there are a ton of guys just like this on twitter). With that said, I don't think brian ever specifically vouched for him, but just posted what he said.
December 19th, 2014 at 11:16 PM ^
It seemed kind of bland and generic, and generally stuff I'd seen elsewhere a day or two earlier.
I doubt he has any actual inside contacts. I thought for a while he may be getting some things second hand from a parent or relative, but that seems unlikely, as well.

The way Jeff Teague and Mike Conley are playing Id lump Lillard with that group in the 7-10 range.
I don't have Rose in there because he's never healthy. If he can get and stay healthy he's top 5 too.

especially when prolonged like all of our searches seem to be everytime, ugh....I can't wait for it to be over so that I can revel in JH being in charge of our beloved football program.
