Interesting...after the whole song and dance this past season by NFL on image following domestic violence he gets an invite but an individual highly regarded for his character like Gardner was not.
A player "should" commit to a school but when a coach is convincing him the coach in many ways is the school at those moments. The coach leaves and what the kid thought was the school suddenly looks different. Is a shame, many of these kids look to their coaches as mentors and role models so when they leave like that it's a form of abandonment to them.
Good question! I was thinking next year Michigan would be reeling in 20-25 but see again it's projected to be in the high teens. So, when will Michigan be getting big classes again? Besides gray shirting, how do other programs always end up with 20+ recruiting classes?
Besides that curiosity, I'm ecstatic about what Harbaugh has done so far and can't wait for the staff to coach up the whole team! Go Blue!
No and neither should any recruit if not 100% sure on their decision. Signing day like everything else in college football/sports has become big money and driven by networks. Some recruits buy into it with the hoopla but schools will wait and if not, then recruit probably has his answer on if that was the right school for them. This isn't just a four year choice, it's a lifetime shaper.
Signing... maybe, since Michigan had several RB's they offered visited the final few weeks?! But I would think that guarantee would only come if he gave a 100% verbal, doesn't sound like that was the case as he was back and forth till the end.
I wish him the best, but I think his excuses are just there to deflect the heat (and unjustified) from him going somewhere besides Michigan.

Out of curiosity, how could Weber think Michigan wasn't targeting other RB's? I mean, there have been several offers and visits the past few weeks, right? I wish no ill towards him but since he didn't openly commit and Michigan was knowingly searching then it's plain ignorance to think Michigan wouldn't take a RB while Weber twisted in the wind.
Just my thoughts/ opinion on matter.
Hope he actually gets playing time (unlike Dunn experienced) and matures into a solid citizen.

From what I saw of the Super Bowl last night, coaches can develop a lot of talent so called experts rank low or not at all. I think folks need to chill and be happy the coaches are finding kids they're excited to develop and plug into their schemes. Stars just mean a player was good in high school, not a star college player.
If every player isn't welcomed and whole heartedly for that matter, a family mentallity won't grow. Parents and future recruits will recognize that as well. Besides, for the kids this is one of the biggest moments in their lives and should be celebrated.

An impressionable young man made choice based on some negativity surrounding the program and lack of a head coach. As long as academically he fits, why not welcome him? Having read many of the posts on here, many fans were thinking of jumping ship, especially if a head coach they didn't like we're to be hired. So cut the young man some slack. Go Blue!
So another thing the national guys harping on missing out on recruiting got wrong... since won't be a large class?! Now just need a the right HC to fill the need positions with quality.
Nobody, not even Harbaugh himself knows if Harbaugh will take the job. Hundreds of folks tweeting speculative bs, he probably is no different. Just don't follow him or others and wait for press conference if want 100% accuracy.
Like most news on tv it's less about accuracy and more about sensationalism. Cowherd is looking for ratings. Does he get more by saying "at this time we've nothing concrete to report" no. Just like this site and all over twitter, everyone wants instant gratification. So he plays it up. He pisses off Michigan fans, but is embraced by others... yet he also continues to get many that bleed Blue to return just to catch the latest slight. Just ratings plot, journalism and fact checking went out a decade or two ago. By continuing to discuss him, he gets what he craves. Not saying, just saying....
