Markus Kennedy cleared for SMU
I know, I know. What does this have to do with JH? Well, Michigan basketball plays today so I hope you at least find it somewhat relevant. Todays matchup just became a lot more difficult.
SMU junior forward Markus Kennedy has been academically cleared to play, the team's coaching staff told ESPN on Friday, and he will be available against Michigan on Saturday.
Kennedy hasn't played this season after averaging 12.4 points and 7.1 rebounds last season for the Mustangs.

Of course an opponent would get a player cleared to play 3 hours before playing us.

Do you remember February when we were losing our minds over the amount of optimism we had for 2014? I do.. This year can only redeem itself with one outcome. Harbaugh!

To be the best, have to play the best. In long run, which hopefully involves a ncaa berth his playing should help the young guys development. Go Blue!

Well, this could make things a bit interesting. As it stood, the line implied on TeamRankings had Michigan at -1.5, which to me is about as good a "pick 'em". Getting Kennedy's production back sort of solidifies my opinion that this one might be a good each way bet.
In other words, this is a very 2014 thing to happen, as someone mentioned. Still, hopeful that the team has had some time to get refocused and put this one in the "W" column.
