Thank you Denard!

How many people said Denard couldn't cut it in the NFL?

Proud of you, your loyalty, and finally getting a chance at continued success at a higher level. GO BLUE!

I will say that to see that smile live on in the NFL and be successful at that makes me smile. Denard led this team through some very unusual times in Michigan history and not only made the team better, but everyone around him seemed to benefit from his presence. It's great to see him get his shot and make the most of it.

Having him as a RB rather than qb. I know he had some magical games early on at qb, but still big picture he would've been more impactful as a RB, especially if we had a good qb.

These last three games have been the only time I have had an actual desire to turn on a jacksonville game.

Sucks they just threw the game away, but I care more about Denard's performance. He keeps this up, he's gonna be able to play wherever he wants... Pete Carroll, you watching?

I added him to my fantasy team and am glad I did. Anyone know where jags games can be found for future weeks in the A2 area? The Arena?

Few other places have the ticket, but you could look through the regular streaming sites if you don't feel like leaving the abode... though NFL games typically do not hold my interest as much as NCAA games....  so it's nice to be able to watch all of them at the same time while getting some social time in.

Say what you will about him at QB, I think that 2 loss season would have been better if the offense was kept running the same  as it was before.... hoke/mattison relaly did shore up the defense pretty well... but the offense was gimped, and denard was really out of his element with coaches who didn't know or care how to cater to his play-style...

Either way, that's all just conjecture... I'm just glad he is doing well in the here and now. Win or loss, he is making waves.... when i picked him up his ownership in fantasy was like 0.5% ... Haven't checked lately.

Jags would win a few games if they let Henne start. Letting your top5 pick get some experience has value, but there is no way Bortles is better than Henne right now. If someone didn't grease the Bengals defenders hands he would have 4 possibly 5 picks in this game.

They didn't play denard until it was their only option....

I hate to say "I knew," but i felt 100% confident that DRob would shine if he was thrown into a real game and was given enough carries. He was always that way. The best part of his skillset was always improvisation.

If Henne and Denard, Michigan's two most successful QB's as of late, were both starting for the Jags, that'd be really cool to see them playing together.

...Too bad the Pats didn't hold onto Gallon. Receivers like him, with sure hands and great route running abilities, are the type that thrive with Brady. That could have maybe been a very exciting Michigan duo to watch in the NFL.

Reminds me of CWebb and Juwan both being with the Bullets just after Michigan. Nice little video here of those two playing together as pros.

Good for him.  Guy has a genuinely great attitude, but I think he does not get as much credit for the hard work as he should.  Deserves everything he gets.  Would love to see him putup a great season or two and get PAID!

Thanks for deleting that post, was trying to  get it off of there

His box score looked pretty good... caught both of his passes. one went for 12, the other was stopped behind the line for a loss

Almost got 100 rushing, got over 100 total, and a TD.

EDIT: I can't access that last post to delete that clusterfck

I miss Denard on Saturdays.  What kind of numbers would he have put up yesterday with all of those obvious "QB take off running if you have two healthy ankles" plays?
