Mike Weber considering enrolling early
*I looked to see if this was posted, but didn't see it. Sorry, Ace, if I'm stealing any of your thunder...just seemded like the board could use some good news from one of our commits. Mike Weber says he's caught up enough to be able to be an EE, but seems like he's trying to decide if he wants to miss out on his last semester of high school. September 10th, 2014 at 10:35 AM ^
same here! That was very very well done, Carlos.
September 10th, 2014 at 10:42 AM ^
Mike Weber...Ty Isaac...Derrick Green...Deveon Smith...that's a pretty nice stable of running backs.
September 10th, 2014 at 12:25 PM ^
* on paper it is. With the exception of Ty Isaac, none of the others have proven anything.

September 10th, 2014 at 2:22 PM ^

It is entirely possible that you missed out on the flaming sarcasm inherent in the previous post.
September 10th, 2014 at 11:28 AM ^
Entirely possible, but not true in this case. I recognized the sarcasm and met it with some of my own, for humor's sake.

This is depressing, I mean...someone better get some proof or some linkable sources of this information, this is something the whole blog needs to know ASAFP......Oh, I see what you did there.
September 10th, 2014 at 8:21 PM ^
HE JUS GAVE U D PROOF. YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE PROOF!
September 10th, 2014 at 1:29 PM ^
Welcome to the board.
September 10th, 2014 at 12:23 PM ^
Well, first they are going to drag Dave Brandon out of his house and stick him in that huge noodle and roll him out of down on US 23. Then they'll decommit.
September 10th, 2014 at 10:42 AM ^
WHY CAN'T WE EVER HAVE NICE THI... oh this is good news. Never mind. Force of habit.
September 10th, 2014 at 12:26 PM ^
Lorenz also reported yesterday on some visitors for the Miami game. 2016 Warren De La Salle linebacker Eric Rogers is likely to visit, while Grant Perry, Alex Malzone, and Jack Dunaway ("very likely" to be a preferred walk-on next year) from Brother Rice will all definitely be in attendance.
September 10th, 2014 at 10:48 AM ^
He still plans to enroll? But we lost.
September 10th, 2014 at 10:58 AM ^
Can he start this weekend?
September 10th, 2014 at 6:19 PM ^
Weber can't start yet, but he can certainly wear headsets and provide offensive strategy suggestions.

Also on the good news trend but not worthy of a full post is the fact that marcus lewis named us as his leader prior to taking his offical visits...I mean i will take the good news where i can get it these days with all the negative people around here calling for hoke to be fired
September 10th, 2014 at 2:59 PM ^
must have blacked out NBC this past Saturday night.
September 10th, 2014 at 12:07 PM ^
He'll get here just in time for Manball..... I hope.
September 10th, 2014 at 12:52 PM ^
What's his head coaching experience? Would he be willing to put on a headset, answer question in pressers in a way that doesn't make him look like a deer in the headlights, and speed up tempo. Depending on the answers to these questions, I think I have an idea for how he could contribute immediately.
September 10th, 2014 at 2:10 PM ^
a lot since Saturday. I agree that some tempo would help this offense...more than it would hurt the D (because they would practice against it anyhow).
I just don't see how Nuss has had ANY time to put this in yet, given the tirefire at OL he had to address, and putting his entire offense in. I urge everyone to give Nuss some time here...at least end of year before lighting your torches. I truly believe we are going to improve a LOT on that side, and that it could spark the D also.
It just seems to me that knowing the offense REALLY WELL is a pre-requisite to asking guys to run it at ludicrous speed.

He must be getting paid

Use proper etiquette while posting here and there won't be a problem. Simple as that.
