I have to be in Ann Arbor this weekend, so I think I will stop by the press box and make sure that Don Criqui is fed and has adequate water. After all, he might still be waiting for some dort of signal and - ND homer or not - I think we should do the humane thing.

Was hoping this would be on this week.

It's been 3 years already?? So many emotions watching this game back then

It brought me some joy watching them nearly run out of the stadium after the last touchdown, the little boy crying away.

I still have this game on my DVR. Every time I think I should delete it to free up space, I watch the last 2 minutes and think, "nah... not just yet."

Denard scores on the drawn up fumble-at-the-goal line play
September 2nd, 2014 at 10:51 PM ^
OT for a moment (especially for anyone who switched away from the Tigers-Indians game)---Detroit just took the lead in the top of the 9th 4-2 on a 1-out 3-run blast by JD Martinez, scoring Torii (lead off with a BB) and Miggy (single).
Tigers are still batting, 2 down now...

4-2 final score, Nathan getting the save, this time only slightly worrisome, as he gave up a 2-out single and then got the potential tying run to instead hit an easy fly-ball final out.
Now I can switch channels to the 2011 game.
[edit: it appears Stephen Moya pinch-ran for Miggy after Miggy singled Hunter to 2nd----just watched the replay of the game-winning HR, a huge blast that easily cleared the right-center wall.]

And Rees just fumbled. Even knowing what's gonna happen (and maybe because of it), watching this game is ridiculously entertaining!
Thanks for posting, or I would have missed it.

Throw into double coverage. Complete. Throw into single converage. Interception.

That Ryan tackle was huge. A key forgotten play that made the difference.

Only two minutes left and there's three touchdowns we haven't even seen yet.
One of the most incredible games ever.

That did not look like an actual 1st down.
Makes up for the phantom "index card" 1st down ND got at their place.

So much excitment when this score happened. No way ND scores on us. Now we all sleep happily

while ND drives for a last-minute lead TD, Jeremy Gallon goes unnoticed on the Michigan sidelines as he prepares his cloaking device.

Brady going for the score here is when I decided "I'm alright with this guy as my head coach". Announcers all calling for him to just center the ball for the field goal, but Brady's like, "Nope, This is Michigan, FerGodSakes!"

suspended in time.
In the meantime, though, a couple lasting images:
---the crew chief and the white cap he wore (the only truly "throwback" article I saw being worn that night on the field at The Big House.
---The bearded long-haired blond man who rushed out to congratulate the Michigan team in the end zone after time expired---wasn't that Steve Hutchinson?

1988. If Mike Gillette's field goal on the final play of the game was a couple inches to the left, we would be a perfect 8-0.

Since I've moved away from Michigan that's one of the games I'm more than happy that I flew in to see.
Ann Arbor was alive that night, that's for sure.
Unfortunately I left my phone on and the battery was dead by halftime. I would have really liked to have a grainy cell phone victory video.
