You know, I was a little disappointed when the Air Raid was being stunted a bit and the 4th down play didn't quite make it, but Gary Nova made it all better somehow by throwing it right back. We can only assume he felt bad about the situation and wanted to give WSU another shot at this, so it's a shame that they might squander it.

Maybe I shouldn't be, but I'm really surprised that it seems like the Georgia Dome is half full. I know Boise won't travel very well, especially considering they don't have much momentum now that Petersen is gone, but I thought Ole Miss would pack the place.

WSU is not a powerhouse. If Wisco can beat LSU this weekend that would be a positive step for the cônference. I hope our conference does well since it stinks to be the punch line every year.

They may not be a powerhouse, but they are a Pac12 team that went to a bowl game last year and they are playing in their home state. When is the last time Michigan went to the west coast and beat anyone? This would be an impressive win for Rutgers and a good win for the conference.

A win is a win agreed. Also expectations for Rutgers are low so yeah if they beat a Power 5 team it is a good team. Not going to move the needle much in national perception but agreed every little but helps.

Most impressive conf win of that group was the Rich Rods

Southern Utah and Idaho were the other 2 wins.

Fun fact - they opened the season almost upsetting Auburn.

Demolished by Stanford, Oregon, ASU. Basically they were akin to an Illinois of 2013.

I'll give Rutgers credit where credit is due should they win this game, especially considering Big Ten teams traditionally suck when they head out West to play the PAC-12. But I don't know if this is so much a product of them improving greatly as it is WSU is just that bad. When was the last time they were any good? When Ryan Leaf was skulking around campus?

Watched Rutgers/Temple last year and an absolutely terrible TU team stood toe to toe with them for 4 quarters...so, no, Rutgers physical play is not scary
