That was... better than I expected.
(far from over. If scar comes back I'll live in a hole here for a year or two).
August 28th, 2014 at 9:15 PM ^
Safe to say this is the end of BSU.....nice run they had however.
August 28th, 2014 at 9:20 PM ^
I agree that this Boise team is not on the same level as previous incarnations, but what exactly have they done tonight to show you that this is the end? They are hanging with a ranked SEC team in a neutral site game. I don't think they are going the way of Purdue.
August 28th, 2014 at 9:16 PM ^
I love SEC on SEC crime.
August 28th, 2014 at 9:17 PM ^
It's an interception-fest!!!
August 28th, 2014 at 9:18 PM ^
This game can't get any sloppier.
August 28th, 2014 at 9:17 PM ^
Real clean game going on over on ESPN. Not sure Ole Miss is that good, guys.
August 28th, 2014 at 9:21 PM ^
That's suprising, with as much money as they spent to build that team.
August 28th, 2014 at 9:35 PM ^
I swear every year someone is saying "Look out for Ole Miss. This is the year they finally break out"
Then the just win 5-8 games again like they've done every year in the past and like they will do every year forever.
August 28th, 2014 at 9:17 PM ^
BSU/OleMiss is a crap fest. Just run the ball as throwing seems to be a problem right now.

A fumble snap on their own five, missed field goal, a blocked punt, and now a fumble in the red zone.

If I were A&M and up by 24 with 8 minutes to go I might pull my star QB.
August 28th, 2014 at 9:30 PM ^
Jessie Palmer just said SEC teams don't do that. They get recruited to play in their systems and not come out early even when they're up big. Then he said, "When I was at Florida and we were up 60 in the 4th quarter, we never pulled our starters and I always stayed in."
Blah, blah, blah, SEC greatest ever in the history of the universe, blah, blah, blah.

He was saying when he was Freshman...he'd come off the bench behind the starter and he'd still get a chance to throw the ball. Spurrier believed he recruited guys for his system and when they got in the game, they should run his system, not get under center and run the ball and run the clock out.
TAMU could've put a back up in and still run their offense and that's what Palmer was saying.
I have no problem with continuing to run your offense until you get under 2 minutes. But you should put the backups in.

Just noticed Boise State and Ole Miss have both thrown 3 INTs in the first half. Impressive

Minnesota is for realz, yo. I wouldn't be surprised to see them win the Legends division. I mean the North, no wait, is it the Leaders division? The West, yes it's the West.

RCMB: We'd beat South Carolina by 30 and hold A&M to 10 with our defense. We got jipped last year.
