Day 17 features Paul Bunyan. I wonder if Brian is making the new Heiko grow a beard. I heard Ace goes clean-shaven when he's on vacation. Do the mgobeard regulations apply to Bry Mac? Is it true that we lost Jane Coaston to EDSBS because she couldn't grow a beard? These are the things that keep me up at night.

I think the message the past few weeks has been that they're all getting reps everywhere. Magnuson, Braden, and Dawson have been playing guard and tackle for sure.

Marcus Ray said this morning on WTKA he believed Drake Johnson was the most complete back, FWIW, including pass blocking.
Bummer alert: he also said he doesn't think Michigan is the one of the top two teams in the B1G East, but three or four. But they are the most dangerous team in the B1G, in terms of you're not sure what you're going to get and how good they can be. If they play well, they can beat everyone on the schedule.

As a note, there is a certain amount of facial hair among the mod ranks as well, although mine pales greatly in comparison to Magnuson's beard. I highly doubt that I could ever get one to grow out quite that splendidly, and I have no hope of getting to Mealer status with a beard.
One thing he said actually doesn't sound "corny" (as he put it) at all - I think a group like the offensive line on any team really does play better if they are closer to each other as people. It seems to be one of the units where that sort of bond means that much more for performance.
