...so he can get some money to fix that GRILL!
Whew! Forget about all the other stuff, you can get roasted like any other player...and those teeth look like you've been chewing gravel my man!
Pats took Jeremy Gallon!!!
with UDFA work ethics and off-field problems. When he's on, he's the most dominant player on the field. The problem is it rarely happens
WOOHOOO Go GALLON!!!
Will Jeremy Gallon.
I think STL will pick Sam with one of their remaining picks (they have the #34 & # 35 pick in round 7). I think being in Missouri would help whatever fears Sam, the community, the team, etc... have. I also think Jeff Fisher is a top notch guy and wouldn't allow any BS to ruin the lockerroom. Plus it gives STL a feel good story considering how well their counterparts in the NFC West did draft wise (49ers killed it imo and AZ & Seattle were solid).
AND A HUGE HOORAY for Mr. Gallon who was drafted while typing this!!!! And to be drafted by NE - catching passes from Brady and a team that has a reputation of drafting/acquiring talent others overlook.
The Jeff Fisher the disiplanarian narrative needs to end. See Alex Olgetree, Janoris Jenkins, and Kenny Britt, who yet again is likely in trouble with the NFL.
Gotta wonder if Brady had a hand in that one. The Patriots are probably better at identifying talent in overlooked players than any other NFL franchise. I'm not sure Gallon could have gone anywhere better.
Gallon is an excellent route runner that will fit in nicely with the Patriots. Good pick by them especially considering Edelmen is hurt 6 times a year.
Brady is going to make Gallon a solid NFL player, no question.
He'll get a shot to contribute in the return game as well.
I'm really looking forward to see this develop, remember, the Pats now run that no-huddle offense...Gallon obviously has experience in Rich Rod's version of that.
Really excited for Gallon.
They're going to the podium.
Why did they have to show that bar in LA?
C'mon, that was fucked up ESPN.
Yea they showed it earlier, too. I don't really get why they'd do that. Maybe actually show Michael Sam and his draft party.
And I love women more than Hugh fucking Heff.
But just because he's gay you have to show a gay sports bar with people with feathers on their heads and shit?
Why can't you just show a sports bar in St. Louis? Show the crowd? Show people at Mizzou? Hell show Times Square for all I care.
What a joke. Fuck ESPN.
Why do we have to treat him differently from literally EVERY other player in the draft? That is discrimination in itself. Every other player gets their home, their party, their hometown sports bar shown. But Sam gets the gay bar in LA!? LA!? Come on, that's beyond fucked up.
Good for Sam and the Rams. He may not stick (I'm thinking he'd have been a 5th/6th rounder had he not come out, just because of the SEC DPOY factor), but this is a low risk/high reward move.
Also, and maybe this is just my Facebook feed, but a bunch of MSU fans seemed surprised that this highly-accomplished class of players had one guy drafted so far. I'm not saying this is a recruiting tool, but downtrodden, in-the-gutter UM had 3 guys drafted, including two who will likely be starters or valuable backups in the NFL for years, and a WR who could become Wes Welker 2.0 but with better hops.
so it wouldn't have been unprecedented.
Former Lions QB Rodney Peete finished 2nd in the Heisman and was scooped up by the Lions in the 6th round.
...that's what the draft is about. Dreams coming true.
Not a gay bar in LA.
Props to Sam...go make shit happen.
showed Sam on the phone. Their coverage is considerably better than ESPN.
I watched both and moving forward I'll only watch NFL Network on Draft Day. ESPN was awful this year. Shameful to be honest.
But that's was TMZ Sports, I mean ESPN, does.
They wouldn't have done that with Blake Bortles and his hot girlfriend...but they'll show the gay guys making out for 3 minutes.
It was name mentions BEFORE he got drafted.
Stop playing the game, you will die if you try to continue. PLEASE STOP! Play another game or go watch HGTV and continue to play. ESPN will kill you, I promise.
"How about Louisville...3 guys picked."
"Did anyone from Texas get picked?"
"No."
"That's probably why the Louisville coach is the Texas coach."
What's up with this?
Michigan has had 3 players drafted so far, but MSU only has 1.
That doesn't make any sense. Coulda sworn State had at least 5 1st -3rd round locks this year.
Development doesn't always mean getting guys to the draft as it does getting the most out of the talent you have.
True, and thank you for pointing that out.
For a lot of HS recruits, one big thing in their mind is which is the best school to get me ready for the NFL (and has had success at getting players into the NFL).
So for all the success State has had, they are still struggling to put a high volume of players into the NFL (as compared to OSU, Wic, SEC, etc.)
This draft COMPLETELY justified Goddell's move to push the draft back 2 weeks.
SMH...NFL Draft coverage is going to be nonstop from now until forever. Manziel, McCarron and Sam...congrats, but you three are going to make me HATE the NFL Draft.
I'm sure the ratings for all 3 days were off the CHARTS.
Texas' 2010 class was ranked #3 and they had no draft picks for the first time since 1937. BUT CROOOTTTINNGGGG
Troll.
