Michigan football just won the Rose Bowl and will play for the national championship next week.

I'm crying. You're crying.

Let's win the whole damn thing.

And you can’t have one without the other.

See you in Houston

I've been a UM football fanatic since 1980.  This is the 2nd best UM team I've ever witnessed.  The 1997 team is still better though, because they won the NC and had a Heisman trophy winner.

I expect UM to defeat TX/WA a week from today.  Once UM does that, this will be the best UM team I've seen in my lifetime.  Might be the best UM team ever, just depends on your point of view (how relevant to the present were seasons 120 years ago?  I'll leave that up to you.)

Damn, it's good to be a Michigan Wolverine!

These are the glory days of Michigan footbal!!  Never forget what this team has accomplished.  They have NEVER flinched and have an unbelievable belief in each other. It is truly a remarkable thing to witness in this day and age!!

Good Lord….burying my head in the 4th quarter while listening to Herbie try to contain his excitement and reiterating over and over that Alabama can’t keep shooting themselves with self inflicted wounds (bite me…like Michigan didn’t nearly do themselves in with all their self inflicted wounds?) while listening to that insufferable Alabama marching band that wouldn’t shut the f*ck up after every damn play (even after every sack)….my head still feels like it’s spinning.

I was feeling so low…resigning to the fact that the Rose Bowl will never let Michigan have any happiness.  And then….we have that ending.

My God…I can’t even put into words what I’m feeling now.

I have followed Michigan since the '70s.  I have seen some bad shit: https://www.mgoblog.com/diaries/michigan%27s-record-bowl-games

It wasn't easy, but I never gave up the faith.

I posted this before the start of OT:

   Opportunity calls.

We will talk about this game in reverence for 100 years.

We are one hour into that 100 years.

I should also add a huge congrats to JJ and Mason Graham for being the Rose Bowl MVPS.  They join Brian Griese, Tyrone Wheatley, Leroy Hoard, Butch Woolfolk, Mel Anthony, Don Dufek,  Bob Chappius.
