Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s true. The Big Ten can act unilaterally and decide whatever punishment it wants, based off of a “sportsmanship” rule. As long as it has enough presidents and/or ADs ruling in favor of it.

Now, granted, to my understanding there is nothing stopping Michigan from suing the Big Ten if this comes to pass. So Pettiti have his balls screwed on tight for whatever choice he even makes against Michigan.

Lmfao 48-72 hours? Who the fuck even talks like that. So, 2-3 days from now he expects what? Petitti is going to declare a suspension based on a bunch of whiny coaches who got their asses kicked? How the fuck does that make any sense. Here’s my prediction: 49-73 hours from now, Pete Thamel looks like even more of a fucking dumbass than he did previously.

How about this for a punishment - Michigan records their own sideline and signs every game for the next 2 years and posts the video on YouTube for anyone to use in their game planning. I’m sure OSU already has this footage, but let’s put it out there in high definition.
