In the SEC it's Zay Zay Taupe.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:07 PM ^
Great news. Sorting out playing time is going to be very interesting. Good problem to have, though.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:23 PM ^
Competition for the tackle spots will be insane. Guys that are capable of playing guard or tackle will now be competing for those spots.
Harbaugh, of course, has no problem with 6-7 OL alignments however. Will be very interesting to see how they utililize this embarrassment of riches.

Solve goal line issues by playing 9 OLineman, J.J., and Corum.
January 15th, 2023 at 8:53 PM ^
Or ten Oline and Corum at Wildcat.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:07 PM ^
Oh man - Blake, Don, and JJ gonna feast behind them hogs!!!!!!
January 15th, 2023 at 3:47 PM ^
Cole cabana will have a thousand yard season behind corum and the don (who will also have thousand yard seasons)
passing? What’s that?
January 16th, 2023 at 8:20 AM ^
"passing? What’s that?"
In the playoffs, we'll run for 112 yards into 9 man boxes!
January 15th, 2023 at 2:07 PM ^
Wonder if he moves to center with the transfers? Regardless, great news.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:13 PM ^
Doubtful given the Stanford center transfer…
January 15th, 2023 at 2:42 PM ^
And the two C recruits we have had learning for 2-3 years who ought to be ready by now. Crippen? Atterbury? Among the 3, we should be able to find a good C.
January 15th, 2023 at 3:00 PM ^
Atteberry has been playing guard.
Whispers that Crippen may not be in the program come next fall.
Raheem Anderson is probably your 2nd string C with Nugent starting
January 15th, 2023 at 3:05 PM ^
I feel like the Crippen rumors have been happening so long that I will believe it when it is announced.
My assumption is most the OL will participate in an epic position battle in the Spring and things will start to to shake themselves out afterwards.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:07 PM ^
Clearly a sign that Jim is taking the Denver job.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:07 PM ^
Offense is gonna be great, and they are gonna have to be because everyone on defense is bailing.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:14 PM ^
They’re returning 8 starters on defense. Oof.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:22 PM ^
He meant to say besides the 3-deep on defense, everyone is bailing.
January 15th, 2023 at 3:02 PM ^
DJ Turner, Gemon Green, Mazi, Mike Morris, Okie, those were pretty huge losses. We'll see.
January 15th, 2023 at 4:01 PM ^
Turner and Green are losses but Johnson had passed Green by the end of the season and is only going to get much better. Mazi and Morris are definitely losses, but we’re 100% expected and we have guys who will step in without much drop off. I had i hopes for Okie, but he really faded down the stretch. I don’t recall him doing much the last few games. Plus, we have tons of depth at the spot.
January 15th, 2023 at 4:21 PM ^
Honestly, i wouldn't be scared to have our entire "2nd string dline" (quotes because the rotation was such that some were basically just 'other starters') start next year. Moore, graham, grant, mcgregor all looked better and better as the season went on.
January 15th, 2023 at 4:14 PM ^
It's college football. There's always attrition, kids graduate and move on. That's especially true after very successful seasons. In that context 5 guys isn't that noteworthy in terms of finding replacements from the younger players on the roster and/or transfers.
Not all units are going to be like the offense and bring back essentially everyone.
January 15th, 2023 at 4:41 PM ^
Not as huge as Hutch and Ojabo
January 15th, 2023 at 5:34 PM ^
So you point to 5 losses as people bailing? That’s uh… pretty typical. Hell, it’s actually really mild compared to most teams.
Especially when you factor in Okie wasn’t getting as many snaps as guys like McGregor and Derrick Moore late in the year. Plus the addition of Josaiah Stewart from the portal.
Michigan has answers and ample replacements for every loss you mentioned. All except Okie were somewhat expected.
January 16th, 2023 at 6:11 PM ^
Having the Covid (second redshirt) year has exploded eligibility expectations. NIL does not allow signing free agents to long term contracts. Can’t keep ‘‘em all.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:16 PM ^
Impressively bad take, bravo.
January 15th, 2023 at 3:03 PM ^
misspelled "balling"
January 15th, 2023 at 2:08 PM ^
Awesome! I did not expect this. Can any of these offensive lineman play corner?
January 15th, 2023 at 2:08 PM ^
Great news!!
January 15th, 2023 at 2:09 PM ^
Excellent!
January 15th, 2023 at 2:14 PM ^
M Dog I would never down vote you but my heart is disgusted. Reminds me of when Sparty trolled us years ago.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:25 PM ^
It could be worse.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:36 PM ^
Or ...

I read the line "That might change under Athletic Director Dave Brandon" and shuddered.
January 15th, 2023 at 3:05 PM ^
That's straight outta of the Penn State-The Shining-fellating bear-nightmare mascot store.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:11 PM ^
Love this. The WRs gotta rise to the level of the other units.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:27 PM ^
I think we will be fine there. Clemons and Walker rising up would be great, but Wilson is a burner and Johnson can get the job done on the outside. Loveland probably gets a lot more targets and Edwards, while a RB, is essentially a top 5 slot receiver in all of CFB.
I think the 2nd boundary corner is our 1 glaring hole, and if that's really all we can point to as lacking going into a new season, that's an incredibly stacked roster.
January 16th, 2023 at 8:26 AM ^
Why does everyone forget about Tyler Morris? He got snaps early in the season, kept it up all season, and got some real playing time against both OSU and TCU. I'm not sure if either Clemmons or Walker even saw the field in those games! Did they redshirt (legit question)?
Not down, at all, on Clemmons and Walker, but Morris got significantly more PT then they did, and had snaps during important games before the outcome was decided.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:11 PM ^
Today is a great day with the hoops win as well.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:12 PM ^
Maybe we'll just roll out 6 OL on a down to down basis
January 15th, 2023 at 2:13 PM ^
Seems low.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:14 PM ^
Use an OL as our short-yardage back.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:12 PM ^
Whaaaaaaat. Hell yes! Or should I say hail yes? Fucking awesome.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:15 PM ^
Oh, yes. It’s a great Maize & Blue day today!
January 15th, 2023 at 2:16 PM ^
3 moore's in a row!!
January 15th, 2023 at 5:46 PM ^
They’ll be deserving, but the committee will shy away from giving it to them 3 consecutive years not to mention the noise from other team’s fans about “look what they’ve done in the playoffs.”
So they will end up a finalist but ultimately lose out on the award. To which Sherrone Moore and company will use to light a fuse into them boys and they are going to destroy their 1st round playoff opponent next season, only to end up in the championship game against the unit that actually won the award, Georgia. And then they will finally slay the beast.
January 15th, 2023 at 2:16 PM ^
I want to be excited but I am suspect. For the last 2 years the team has surpassed my expectations. With ohio coming to Ann Arbor I look to set my bar with a win and another B1G Championship.
Do I dare?
