Lady Wolverines Game Thread
Right? This is elite, let’s fucking go! Also horseshit this game before is heading to OT.
That was just an amazing block by Naz. Too bad Louisville was able to finish with a basket. But we're still in it and have to feel good so far.
Use a time out and advance the ball, wtf.
I don’t think I’ve seen two traveling calls in a single game, much less on the same team (Michigan of course) in a single half before in my life. 11 turnovers in one half is just sloppy.

There seems to be more travelling calls in the women's game. Also more turnovers.

Rauch really struggling this weekend. Sucks for her on her birthday weekend.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:00 PM ^
-3 in TOs. -2 in ORs. Lville 50% from 3 and…
Down 3 at the half. LFG! Flip that script and WIN THE GAME!
March 28th, 2022 at 10:05 PM ^
Not a big fan of the Michigan women's away unis. They look like Purdue or Iowa. Not Michigan.

Let's Go Ladies! Beat Louisville!
March 28th, 2022 at 10:13 PM ^
Louisville guards have the quickness edge, and with the refs letting them play out there (for both teams), it’s advantage Louisville.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:14 PM ^
Call a fucking foul already
March 28th, 2022 at 10:16 PM ^
Anyone have a stream? I don't think the ESPN app is good for more than 10 minutes real time without a cable provider verification.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:16 PM ^
Louisville is considerably more athletic than our last opponent.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:24 PM ^
And taller.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:18 PM ^
They missed the call on the floor so they called the foul on the shot.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:19 PM ^
This reffing is tough to watch.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:23 PM ^
Refs are letting it go both ways so I don't take too much issue with the refs. I take issues with our dog shit lazy passing. Rifle that fucking ball in there already. Barnes needs to start chewing some ass. It's lazy pathetic passing
March 28th, 2022 at 10:23 PM ^
Team is afraid to shoot the ball under pressure. Can't win with just Naz and Phelia.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:27 PM ^
I thought we had some shooters with range? Do we? What happened to them?
March 28th, 2022 at 10:28 PM ^
We have not been relying on the three this year although Nolan, Rausch, Phelia and Brown can hit them but not with the percentages you would want.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:37 PM ^
That spells trouble then when no entry to Naz is available. South Dakota utilized the same strategy and it almost ended our tournament.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:29 PM ^
Free throws and turnovers, argh.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:31 PM ^
Naz is getting the Jordan rules.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:32 PM ^
Some of those shots have to start falling.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:35 PM ^
OMG. Grit!
March 28th, 2022 at 10:35 PM ^
Hanging around, hanging around. These girls have alligator blood, Louisville can’t get rid of them.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:35 PM ^
Down by 2 after 3. Now it is a test of mental fortitude.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:35 PM ^
Well, that was a good last several minutes.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:36 PM ^
Keeping the pressure on into the 4th. Louisville is going to get very uncomfortable.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:36 PM ^
i thought we were going to tie it up at the end of the quarter. But we've been coming back, and it's a real game now.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:36 PM ^
To get the win someone other than Naz has to step up!
March 28th, 2022 at 10:37 PM ^
They’re in position. Looked dicey there for a second but Michigan shaved a point off the lead despite being down by a bit. Need to limit turnovers especially the live ones. Deadball while not ideal are much preferable to giving Louisville fast break opportunities which are lethal. Good job ladies keep on fighting.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:38 PM ^
We're back in good position in this game, just down 2 after 3 quarters---and we're hitting our free throws at an 80% clip. Louisville isn't even close to being in the bonus yet.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:41 PM ^
Phelia is just doing a tad bit too much right now
March 28th, 2022 at 10:43 PM ^
Somebody else needs to step up.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:42 PM ^
Can't give them extra possessions.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:43 PM ^
If they don’t win they’re going to look at the turnovers but still they’ve overall played well. Still time to mount a comeback but Louisville keeping Michigan at arm’s length every time the team makes a push.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:44 PM ^
Hate repeating it...buyt God damn...stupid fucking lazy passing all damn night. Just playing stupid too often to win
March 28th, 2022 at 10:44 PM ^
A tie up and several unforced turnovers later the lead has grown. The scout must be to pressure Michigan cause they will turn it over.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:46 PM ^
They have a player that is red hot, we have a Naz! That is it, someone needs to step up! Passes are lazy, no one shooting!
March 28th, 2022 at 10:47 PM ^
That was not a good out of bounds play out of the TO.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:47 PM ^
I still think Louisville could be called for a foul almost every trip down, but as it is, Louisville has been called for twice as many fouls so far and have shot 12 fewer free throws.
Those 17 turnovers are killing Michigan right now, BUT they are only down 5 and if they can only hit some freaking shots, they can win this game!
March 28th, 2022 at 10:48 PM ^
Emily K!!
March 28th, 2022 at 10:50 PM ^
Ah. Gotta hit shots.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:52 PM ^
This free throw shooting is reminiscent of the men against Villanova.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:54 PM ^
We missed two in a row, but we are 15-20 on the night. Naz is 10-13 on her own. The men would have won with that kind of FT shooting.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:59 PM ^
Ah, I'd only seen the recent trips to the line.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:55 PM ^
We're 15-20, 75%.
I'd love to be at 100% as much as anyone, but we've outscored Louisville from the stripe 15-3 for the game and it's keeping us close.
March 28th, 2022 at 10:52 PM ^
That's NOT a charge, defender wasn't close to being set!
