Is it the winning of games giving it away?
October 9th, 2021 at 11:47 PM ^
It’s the ability to react to adversity, on the road, after losing the lead in a game they were dominating. Signs of a different culture within the program
October 10th, 2021 at 12:48 AM ^
Isn't it time you go away? You are the biggest troll on here and bitch nonstop about this team even though we are 6-0.
October 10th, 2021 at 1:01 AM ^
Im ecstatic we pulled this out and then I got to watch Alabama lose.
But I believed in revenger tour... sat in the OSU student section for The Game and watched OSU drop 62 on us.
How many do you see this defense giving up to them?
October 10th, 2021 at 1:07 AM ^
Question for you.
October 10th, 2021 at 1:07 AM ^
How many do you think we are going to score against them?
October 10th, 2021 at 1:25 AM ^
Not sure who you are asking. I see is scoring 17-21, giving up 54.
Stroud made how many NFL caliber strikes today to in stride first round draft NFL wide receivers.
Lets assume Dax can shut down Olave... who has wilson?
October 10th, 2021 at 1:49 PM ^
The rest of the secondary.
October 10th, 2021 at 3:35 PM ^
But what are you doing today to beat OSU?
October 9th, 2021 at 11:30 PM ^
I'm impressed because neither Nebraska turnover was really a turnover, Michigan took those balls away.
Beating this Nebraska team on a night when they didn't really implode is impressive, many games Nebraska has given away but this one was ripped away from them by Hawkins
October 10th, 2021 at 12:41 AM ^
This concept is known as a forced turnover.
October 9th, 2021 at 11:30 PM ^
Clearly I'm doubly impressed
October 9th, 2021 at 11:37 PM ^
The last few years, the team would have melted down after giving up 22 and the lead in the 3rd quarter alone. They would not have held up. Apparently, Harbaugh had a 'come to Jesus' moment in the off-season - everything about him, his staff, and his team are different!
The offense was steady all night - it didn't sway from the game plan they started with in the first qtr, and it worked. The defense lost some battles, like we've known it would all year. But scoring 32 should be enough, and it was. Barely! But it was enough!!!
Great job from JH on rebuilding his staff, his team, and himself. In the process, he's rebuilding the fanbase, too! Losing a game like this would've sucked, but it also would have been forgiven. Winning it... Nice!!
October 10th, 2021 at 8:27 AM ^
We only see a small sample of what goes on on the sideline but the intensity from JH last night is the first I've seen of what I expected when we hired him. And then the crazy blow-off of the postgame interview? Kind of vintage JH. I'm starting to take a few steps toward that football Lucy is holding.
October 9th, 2021 at 11:42 PM ^
Agreed. The poise and resiliency are there in a way we haven't seen from Michigan in a while. And that's gonna be huge the rest of the way
October 9th, 2021 at 11:46 PM ^
Nice to see Michigan fight and not fold.
October 10th, 2021 at 12:01 AM ^
Still a lot of work to do. Especially on defense.
October 10th, 2021 at 12:17 AM ^
I agree that there is a still a lot of work to do. I disagree that it's the defense that needs the work :)
October 10th, 2021 at 1:35 AM ^
Well, that’s what byes are for, aren’t they?
October 10th, 2021 at 6:15 AM ^
Give Nebraska some credit. They’re actually good on offense when Martinez isn’t making bonehead plays.
October 10th, 2021 at 1:49 PM ^
I've watched Martinez quite a few times over the years and always seem to be scratching my head over some of the bonehead plays he's made. He has a knack for grasping defeat from the jaws of victory
October 10th, 2021 at 12:02 AM ^
This was great! Loved watching answer after answer! Great job by The Team!

? NEBRASKA is horrible. This post is ridiculous.
October 10th, 2021 at 12:16 AM ^
Your post is ridiculous. Elaborate on how Nebraska is horrible. UM just beat a good Nebraska team on the road at night. Jesus
October 10th, 2021 at 12:42 AM ^
Don't be afraid of Holloween, even if your out of magic little brother pixie dust.
MSU is a good team Respkt.

You can Frick right off Ricky

Nebraska only lost by 7 to OU. How are they horrible?

Clown
October 10th, 2021 at 6:16 AM ^
You mean the Nebraska that basically outplayed Michigan State and only lost against the Spartans due to a couple of miss cues?
October 10th, 2021 at 7:05 AM ^
bummer on the autocorrect on your username, “blue.ignorance.”
October 10th, 2021 at 1:11 PM ^
Ah, I was wondering how long it would take the trolls to dismiss this weekends results with the “Nebraska isn’t that good” line.
October 10th, 2021 at 12:15 AM ^
This team fights. And I love it.
October 10th, 2021 at 12:21 AM ^
This was NOT a lucky win. Michigan took this game. Hawkins and Moody MVP's.
October 10th, 2021 at 12:59 AM ^
I’ll add a comment about the culture - former teams didn’t ever seem to have the swagger to go into hostile territory (both Wiscy and Neb) and steal the opponents THUNDER right out of their own favorite songs. Incredible way to return that pressure and make it their own fire-up music!
interesting to see that Harbaugh doesn’t really participate, it kinda makes me think it wasn’t really his idea...
October 10th, 2021 at 1:14 AM ^
Did you also hear the Michigan sideline chanting over the mic? Cause that was pretty cool.
October 10th, 2021 at 5:21 AM ^
Would hope/think the HC has bigger issues on his mind during the game.
October 10th, 2021 at 10:25 AM ^
Maybe so... But one of the changes we've seen in him this season is that he's letting his team enjoy college football. Perhaps even encouraging it. What other visiting teams are joining in Jump Around and sharing in the momentum boost it brings? Even when Jump Around (Thunder Up?) is culturally appropriated (but it looked really cool - the 1.5 seconds ABC actually showed).
This is part of the 'new' Harbaugh we have this year. It's like the 2016 version of him - a version everyone of us continues to LOVE!

THE OFFENSE WON A 2ND HALF SHOOTOUT ON THE ROAD AT NIGHT
Holy SHIT.

October 10th, 2021 at 1:24 AM ^
Harbaugh's reaction to the win jumping around like he won the lottery makes me think that we might actually have the old Harbaugh back. Maybe not the throwing clipboards Harbaugh, but he seems to have re-discovered something over the off-season. Loved seeing the passion out of him in this game.
October 10th, 2021 at 1:32 AM ^
Great Win!! We looked doomed for a few minutes......GO BLUE!!
Then Fury put on a show! Great night!
October 10th, 2021 at 2:00 AM ^
Harbaugh was fired up and this team has some mojo. The environment tonight was electric and Nebraska had the place rocking, but we out hearted them. Good win. Nebraska is better than their record indicates.
October 10th, 2021 at 3:09 AM ^
There’s a lot to pick apart, complain about, and be rightfully worried about against better competition (especially OSU,) but tonight was a great win. On the road at night vs a solid Nebraska team is a great win. The defense looked like 2nd half Rutgers again - only this time against a team that can finish better - but Hawkins made the game winning play and unlike the 2nd half of Rutgers, the offense kept making plays.
Loved seeing Harbaugh fired up running off the field. That was Stanford/SF Harbaugh.
I like the effort the defense plays with, but they simply don’t have the talent to keep up with an elite offense. OSU is likely going to do bad things to the defense, but maybe if we can just keeping winning until that game then you can still land a Jackson and then him and Johnson quickly change the talent of the secondary.
I think we have the ability to win every other game on the schedule though. MSU and PSU will be tough, but winnable with great execution.
October 10th, 2021 at 10:59 AM ^
I’ve heard all season to date that Alabama (and Georgia) were a significant cut above everyone else. Ooopppsss, maybe Alabama isn’t. I think we have a long way to go before we get the Buckeyes (a cut above the rest of the B1G) at home in late November. How about we enjoy the week off at 6-0, enjoy that we play a very bad NW team after a week off, and get a laser focus on beating MSU?
October 10th, 2021 at 1:58 PM ^
I still can't get over how much better Harbaugh looked last night. I believe something significant in his life has changed for the better, and that's great.
It's also clear that his newfound energy has carried over to the team because they were able to hang around and gut out the win.
Beating a decent, motivated Nebraska team in Lincoln at night in your second consecutive week on the road is pretty darned good in my book.
October 11th, 2021 at 7:05 AM ^
I agree.
My only concerns are a subpar secondary and the fact that we can't convert in the redzone.
Sure, I'll take 3 pts but it's not going to fly in the second half of the season. All in all, love our boys' resilience thus far! Go Blue from southern IN!
October 11th, 2021 at 7:08 AM ^
Oh, and I 100% think JJ should be QB1 especially against an abysmal NW team. This bye week couldn't have come at a better time for that (hopeful) transition!
