OT: All 4 Broncos QBs ineligible tomorrow due to Covid protocol
Broncos will have a practice team QB who played some QB at Wake Forest under center. Jerry Juedy may get wildcat snaps.
I’ll take 3rd string duty if I can make it to Denver by kickoff.

Same with Michigan all season

Stole this from Twitter: they already beat the Steelers in the playoffs without a QB.

I may be wrong, but isn't this ridiculously poor logistics on the part of their staff? Of all positions.......the QBs need to be distanced and masked!
November 28th, 2020 at 9:50 PM ^
Yup. Some teams are doing position groups on zoom to avoid this. Or splitting groups up so you don't lose your entire OL or something.

Hey, a thread the mods might not remove

It's a practice squad RECEIVER starting at QB. He was a backup QB at Wake before switching to receiver. Should be fun.

Good catch - it sounds like they couldn’t even sign an actual quarterback due to Covid rules.

It's a chance for him to be a legend!
I'm thinking of Jason Garrett, who won a big Thanksgiving game for the Cowboys against the Packers in the nineties before he somehow became coach of the Cowboys for 14 years. Which I still have trouble believing.
Sure, the Broncos will be lucky to score offensive points, but on the other hand Drew Brees is out. Although Taysom Hill looked better than I would have guessed last week.

Could we loan them Dan Villarl?
November 29th, 2020 at 12:06 PM ^
if they were playing against the Leo’s he’d throw for 400yds and 3 TDs + run one in
November 28th, 2020 at 10:03 PM ^
Bet they wish they had Brian Griese again.
November 28th, 2020 at 10:04 PM ^
So what? They won a Super Bowl without a QB a few seasons ago.

Elway may be suiting for this one.

Also note the 49ers can’t go home and the Steelers have an outbreak that may mean they can’t play on Tuesday (game was already moved due to an outbreak on the Ravens) Seems like the NFL is real close to this season falling apart.
From a competitive standpoint it already fell apart they just don’t want to admit the obvious

Enjoy tomorrow , football

Somebody get Tebow on the phone

I wanna see them run some Single Wing or Wishbone.
November 28th, 2020 at 11:31 PM ^
The NFL needs to just shut down for 2 weeks and go full quarantine.
It’s starting to fall apart fast.
November 29th, 2020 at 12:37 AM ^
So typical. Only the damned Saints get this lucky, getting Brees knocked out for three games with two of them being against the Falcons and one of them against this clusterfark.
November 29th, 2020 at 12:58 AM ^
Having followed the NFL a lot since 2013, there's a lot of things I would call the Saints, but given their playoff history, lucky is not one of them
November 29th, 2020 at 1:15 AM ^
But the Ravens get a push back lenience TWICE because they are apparently a star team. NFL is ass, like so many other things

Bring on the zamboni goalie
