Looks like they will "test" Saban over and over again until they get the results they want.
So, he'll be on the sidelines tonight anyway.
October 17th, 2020 at 9:33 AM ^
300 more tests will surely yield two more false negatives - no one in college football says no to Saban
October 17th, 2020 at 10:34 AM ^
They may have to finish with a pregnancy test, but they'll get that last negative test by 8:00 PM tonight.
October 17th, 2020 at 9:43 AM ^
I think they already said he's tested negative again this morning, but I could be wrong. I saw a crawl/headline that said he tested neg, but don't know if it was a second neg. In any case, I expect him on the sideline...
October 17th, 2020 at 11:47 AM ^
Or maybe he actually had a false positive test like the data shows?
October 17th, 2020 at 9:13 AM ^
Can. Not. Stand. Pollack.
October 17th, 2020 at 9:17 AM ^
I agree. It seems like he goes out of his way to be a douchebag. I like everyone else though.
October 17th, 2020 at 10:03 AM ^
Well he hates Michigan.
October 17th, 2020 at 10:08 AM ^
When it's time for ESPN to cut staff yet again, I know where to start.
Not only is he an ass, but he does not add anything. One or the other, people.
October 17th, 2020 at 9:25 AM ^
I’m on a bus right now.
October 17th, 2020 at 9:38 AM ^
You're a busboy?
October 17th, 2020 at 10:09 AM ^
Are you coming to my Citay?
October 17th, 2020 at 9:44 AM ^
So next week... What are the chances that Gameday is in Minneapolis? I don't know the rest of the schedule.
October 17th, 2020 at 10:00 AM ^
Not much else worth them doing...
Other ranked vs ranked matches:
Bama @ Tenn (not likely to do Bama 2 weeks straight)
ISU @ Ok St (possible, but ISU losing to a sunbelt team took away much of this appeal)
Cincy @ SMU (this may well get the nod if not us, since both are undefeated and likely to be top 15 that week)
October 17th, 2020 at 10:12 AM ^
They don't love the Big Ten, but they will absolutely want to do Game Day from a Big Ten site next week.
It's a good storyline for them, the Big Ten coming back after all the drama and false starts.
They've got to fill up three hours somehow.
October 17th, 2020 at 10:54 AM ^
Good points Dog. BIG offers a good storyline and M-M matchup is the best on offer.
October 17th, 2020 at 10:55 AM ^
Completely agree - I would put money on the going to Minn for that game.
However, if they choose not to (or cannot go there), I would see them doing the match up of top 15 undefeated teams @ SMU.
October 17th, 2020 at 11:16 AM ^
No one fills hours like ESPN. This is the network that made watching people play cards make sense as a TV show.
October 17th, 2020 at 9:47 AM ^
only game i might watch is second half of bama georgia
October 17th, 2020 at 9:47 AM ^
Bama fans are tailgate cooking on the portable pellet grill this morning... M Go Que would be proud, probably!
October 17th, 2020 at 10:02 AM ^
Yessir! Getting ready throw a whole bunch of beef short ribs on the smoker!
October 17th, 2020 at 11:13 AM ^
I never had those until just a month ago, and now they're my favorite thing to put on the grill! After 10 hours of post oak or cherry, it's like eating candy!
October 17th, 2020 at 1:18 PM ^
Yeah, it’s one of my favorite things to cook (and eat) lately.
October 17th, 2020 at 10:08 AM ^
Let’s just hope and pray no one on minny or mich test positive in the next week.
October 17th, 2020 at 10:25 AM ^
"Stay positive. Test negative."
October 17th, 2020 at 10:26 AM ^
Why the fck did we change our endzones? Wtf our endzones were sick the last two years
October 17th, 2020 at 2:19 PM ^
I didn't see. What do our new end zones look like???
October 17th, 2020 at 10:26 AM ^
Fuck you ESPN.
That is all.
October 17th, 2020 at 2:21 PM ^
Anything in particular make you say this? I didn't watch GameDay.
October 17th, 2020 at 3:25 PM ^
Their intro to the Big Ten coming back was our game-losing dropped punt against MSU.
October 17th, 2020 at 10:50 AM ^
Big ten preview sounds like everyone is down on UM. Herbs gotta talk up ohio tho.
October 17th, 2020 at 1:32 PM ^
Let 'em.
1. If we win a close game, the story line will be "Michigan pulls the upset," instead of "Michigan can't put Minnesota away."
2. It's 2020 fergoshake! Any football is bonus football.

I am spending this perfect fall Saturday in Michigan working outside. Just finished the first coat of polyurethane on my backyard climbing wall (it is 12' tall x 6' wide, and will be turned upright and hung from a tree by ratchet straps).
Soon I'll be mowing my lawn, even though it doesn't really need it, and burning the millions of leaves that have fallen from my 12 maples.
My general mood has been much better without football, and weekend more enjoyable and productive.
October 17th, 2020 at 12:51 PM ^
I'd like to see the finished product
October 17th, 2020 at 1:16 PM ^
I will post photos of it in one of XM's Friday night shootin-the-shit drinking posts.
October 17th, 2020 at 12:50 PM ^
Watching Trevor Lawrence, that guy is going to be a good pro QB. Fingers crossed that Milton also will show the same pocket presence and precision throwing ability.
October 17th, 2020 at 1:36 PM ^
But hey, I'll settle for Milton showing some pocket presence, enough accuracy on deep throws to prevent the defense from selling out against the run and short passes, and KEEP THE DING DANG BALL when that's the read!
October 17th, 2020 at 2:13 PM ^
Nothing makes me happier than seeing Tennessee get exposed for the mediocre team they are. I thought they were grossly overrated coming into the season, especially given who they beat last year, and so watching them get trucked by a mediocre UK team is nice and, perhaps, will help with recruiting a bit.
October 17th, 2020 at 3:25 PM ^
I'm watching the Auburn/South Carolina game right now. Every one of the Auburn coaches that I see on the sidelines, including their head coach, is wearing their masks underneath their noses. Why even wear a mask if you're not going to cover your nose?? Are they just trolling everyone, trying to piss off the pro-mask people? Or are they just mouth breathers?
October 17th, 2020 at 3:58 PM ^
They get fined if they don't have it on. Its like out here, our gov. (D) issued a mask decree for all businesses, so they post a warning at the entrance of the store however only roughly 70% of people even comply with the directive or wear them properly (I see them hanging from the ear, under their chin, you name it...)
October 17th, 2020 at 3:36 PM ^
Officials give Auburn another gift when a pass hit the ground but they ruled it a catch upon review. Auburn is driving down 8 with 1:44 to go. Gotta keep some SEC teams ranked high obviously so it helps with strength of schedule later in the season.
