Today's Schedule of Games
At noon, the Red River Shootout - Texas vs. Oklahoma. Whoever loses this game is going to be butt-hurt. I hope it's Texas. The "Herman is not getting it done" howls will be heard across the nation. Can you say "Urban Meyer to Texas"? Ohio State will never get another elite recruit from Texas again.
In the afternoon, Tennessee at Georgia will be good for a bit, but I don't think for as long as some other people think.
At night, Miami at Clemson. Are the Canes a mirage? They will be against Clemson. Also, FSU at Notre Dame. I don't often root for Notre Dame, but we are in on a couple of FSU recruits, and anything that helps make FSU look like a tire fire helps us.
Finally, your Pac 12 After Dark special . . . wait, what? Damn. Got wait on those.

Here's a fancy schmancy schedule link with some nice aesthetically pleasing graphics:
October 10th, 2020 at 9:54 AM ^
Watching OU-TX at noon, and rooting for Oklahoma to put a dagger in the Big 12, and because Herman coached at Ohio State.
Watching TN-GA at 3:30 and rooting for Tennessee because I think Georgia is better.
Capping it off by rooting for Miami at night because I'm tired of Clemson.
October 10th, 2020 at 10:07 AM ^
Perfectly said
October 10th, 2020 at 11:00 AM ^
Least we forget about Mr Chris Ash.
October 10th, 2020 at 1:46 PM ^
Have to root for Texas. The Big 12 is a joke but people still think OU is good and they find their way into playoffs because their league is weak and the squeak through it all the time just to get their asses kicked in playoffs. Want them to drop a second game now and then don’t have to hear about them anymore. Texas will drop another game this year also and the entire conference will be an after thought
October 10th, 2020 at 2:35 PM ^
Oklahoma has already lost 2: Kansas State, & Iowa State.
October 10th, 2020 at 9:55 AM ^
It continues to get harder to wait for October 24 with every weekend
October 10th, 2020 at 9:59 AM ^
Gonna watch the Army-The Citadel game.
October 10th, 2020 at 11:05 AM ^
Who are you rooting for there buddy? Gonna have some nachos whilst viewing. Maybe some beer? Look at the phone a bit during the five minutes of commercials occurring every ten minutes? Try to ignore the things in life you need to do to be your full potential? Get a little bitter at those that “keep you down”?
okay, I took it too far, but I was doing the Stewie griffin “working on that book, Brian ?” Voice and I couldn’t stop. Have a pleased day conquer of ponies. I hope the “Dilly Dilly” commercials bring you much joy.
October 10th, 2020 at 12:47 PM ^
I mainly watch Army football because our HS team runs a version of the option.
October 10th, 2020 at 10:24 AM ^
Thanks M-Dog. Lots of good stuff today. Should be fun.
Interested in that Ark-AU game. O/U is 46 and torrential rain supposed to hit Auburn around game time.
October 10th, 2020 at 10:50 AM ^
Looking forward to Tarik Black making a difference. I don't know why, but he needs some success. His career started so promising.
October 10th, 2020 at 3:59 PM ^
Only one catch so far.
October 10th, 2020 at 11:48 AM ^
That OU-TX game is going to feature over 100 points and yet will be just awful to watch.
Miami's "resurgence" has come on the backs of beating 1-3 Louisville, 3-1 UAB, and 1-2 FSU that trailed Jacksonville St. going into the half. Clemson hasn't played anyone either but at least they've been a good team for years. Feels like Miami is going to be blown out again, lose to Pitt, and that'll be it for their 1-year rental of a good QB.
October 10th, 2020 at 12:04 PM ^
Not much actual "Social Distancing" at TX-OU . . .
October 10th, 2020 at 12:07 PM ^
Good post. Excited for todays games. But who are these recruits that we are after competing vs with FSU that I should actually root for ND? Thank you.
October 10th, 2020 at 12:44 PM ^
Okay cool. Cooper being the number 1 guy. Thanks dude. Sounds like we could get him to flip...I guess I can get on board with this.
October 10th, 2020 at 12:25 PM ^
Man, Kyle Pitts is having an incredible season.
October 10th, 2020 at 12:29 PM ^
Random observation: If life was normal and there was never any Covid, we’d be playing MSU in East Lansing today.
October 10th, 2020 at 11:15 PM ^
So... silver linings.
October 10th, 2020 at 1:12 PM ^
Rattler is bad....like real bad
October 10th, 2020 at 5:59 PM ^
Gets rattled in the pocket.
October 10th, 2020 at 1:20 PM ^
If Texas loses to OU Today, Herman will be on the hot seat. Herman was suppose to be their savior and Texas fans thought he was going to be the next Royal, even better than Brown.
October 10th, 2020 at 2:54 PM ^
I'm beginning to think that the problems for programs like Texas and ND (and us...ducks) is not the coaches, it's us.
October 10th, 2020 at 1:33 PM ^
We are against ND recruits every year, as well. FSU v The Figthins is a meteorite game.
October 10th, 2020 at 2:13 PM ^
A fight to the death where both lose?
October 10th, 2020 at 2:32 PM ^
In practical terms, I'd settle for a fugly, undisciplined game where both programs display much ineptitude.
October 10th, 2020 at 1:47 PM ^
Oklahoma defense making Ehlinger look like a Heisman candidate.
Tarik Black, one catch for 24 yds in first half. He was wide open on that play.
October 10th, 2020 at 3:26 PM ^
EDIT: just Florida went down. Oklahoma not looking promising for OT
October 10th, 2020 at 3:39 PM ^
LSU goes down to winless Missouri 45-41.
They had 4 chances from the 1 yard line at the end and couldn’t get it in!
October 10th, 2020 at 3:40 PM ^
OU still has plenty of time to blow this game.
October 10th, 2020 at 3:40 PM ^
My alma mater Missouri just took down LSU by stopping them on a four-down goal line stand from the one.
MIZ baby!
October 10th, 2020 at 3:51 PM ^
Holy crap Oklahoma. How many gifts have you given to Texas today? Pathetic.
And predictably, Gus Johnson is blowing out his vocal chords.
October 10th, 2020 at 3:51 PM ^
Watching Oklahoma play defense makes me sad Grinch left Ohio
October 10th, 2020 at 3:56 PM ^
They threw on 3rd down when Texas had no timeouts left. They could have pinned them deep in their own territory with about 50ish seconds left. Instead they give Texas a full two minutes to put the drive together.
Why can’t elite teams make horrible decisions like this when they play us? This game should have long been over.
October 10th, 2020 at 4:05 PM ^
Shades of Charlie Weis against us in 2009.
Miss you big guy.
XOXOXOX
October 10th, 2020 at 3:52 PM ^
This is why we love College Football.
October 10th, 2020 at 3:54 PM ^
Texas is going to win in OT just like against Texas Tech. Lincoln Riley finding out it's a lot harder to coach when you don't have a Heisman-level transfer QB.
October 10th, 2020 at 3:59 PM ^
Did I just witness what I think I witnessed? Riley threw the ball on 3rd & 9, inside his own 20, with a lead and the clock? Thus giving Texas TWO FULL MINUTES?
Ugh... Coaching malfeasance...
October 10th, 2020 at 4:09 PM ^
Okay, that TD throw from Rattler was big time good! 38-38 on the Red River...
October 10th, 2020 at 4:23 PM ^
I am Henri Ennui about this game. It reminds me of RichRod's 17 OTs "victory" over Illinois.
October 10th, 2020 at 4:44 PM ^
Wasn't that score in the 60's?
October 10th, 2020 at 4:27 PM ^
I am kind of curious about Miami / Clemson, even though I expect Clemson to win this handily.
October 10th, 2020 at 4:29 PM ^
And now Texas and Oklahoma have basically told their defenses to get on the bus and go home. Big XII football!!
October 10th, 2020 at 4:29 PM ^
3 OT here with texas v. okla. fun game to watch.
fla losing to t a & m is nice.
October 10th, 2020 at 4:33 PM ^
OU blocks a FG attempt. FINISH THEM!
October 10th, 2020 at 4:34 PM ^
You can't not score in OT... OK just won the game, should the kick be good.
October 10th, 2020 at 4:38 PM ^
Or not . . .
