Wisconsin Starting QB Jack Coan out indefinitely
I would move the Wisconsin game from lean M to likely M:

These remarkable posts about Mr. Can cannot be stopped.

Man has landed on the moon.

Out indefinitely can mean a lot of things. No one knew what that meant then. This report is that the injury required surgery. That eliminates the low end possibilities of how long he might be out.

Indefinitely still means the same thing.

Didn't we already do this a couple of days ago? Jack Can't, indeed...

Given the shots Wisconsin has taken at Michigan QBs, here's how I feel:
700 × 700

C'mon Bill.
October 6th, 2020 at 9:14 PM ^
He’s just a Bill. A plain old Bill.
October 6th, 2020 at 9:00 PM ^
I think you misspelled his name. It’s Jack Can.
October 6th, 2020 at 11:16 PM ^
I'd much rather M face Jack Can't in that game....
October 6th, 2020 at 9:02 PM ^
Well. This is news.
October 6th, 2020 at 9:04 PM ^
I don’t know, Bill. Can it really go from leaning M to leaning M?
October 6th, 2020 at 9:08 PM ^
Oh, god.....

I think M can win regardless of who they start, but just for the record, they do have a high 4 star guy ready to step in and start. Young player, though, So. or RS Fr. I believe.

Yup, Graham Mertz.

Not sure what your avatar picture is supposed to be. And, I'm not sure I want to know.

I feel bad for this young man!

Sorry anyone's hurt.

Poor guy got hurt again?

Can you believe it!

I have seen reports that there is some new virus in China. Hope it doesn't come to the US.

Oh No! Kung Flu 2!!!

Indefinite doesn’t mean the season, if that were the case, they’d define it as “out for the season” - instead, it’s not been determined yet.
October 6th, 2020 at 9:56 PM ^
Who feels bad for Wisconsin? They hurt our QBs twice. Tough luck
October 6th, 2020 at 10:10 PM ^
My initial, admittedly, poor reaction. Fuck those guys. They also ruined a future NFL left tackle.
October 6th, 2020 at 10:12 PM ^
Was it Wisconsin who submarined Grant Newsome too?
October 6th, 2020 at 10:12 PM ^
Now I know this place is starting to take on some normality here and there - someone has forgotten that injury news, whether ours or that of an opponent, usually makes the board inside ten minutes.
October 7th, 2020 at 7:41 AM ^
I always want Michigan to win and I realize that injuries are a part of the game and season (Michigan has been on the short end of far too many) but it still always sucks to see young college men having to go through things like this no matter what the team

think these double threads wouldn't happen if like every other forum on planet earth threads with recent posts got bumped to the top.
I'm not being a d*ck I love this board and appreciative for it but we get a lot of duplicate threads.

I’m not sure how much this really affects Wisconsin. All their QB has ever been expected to be, outside of a one year stint with Russell Wilson, is a game manager. A guy who doesn’t fumble the handoff to the RB, who let’s face it, is 70-80% of the offensive game plan anyway. A guy who just doesn’t screw things up. Outside of Wilson, Wisconsin has never asked it’s QB to be a hero.
As long as they’ve got a guy on their team who can take care of the football and not fumble the handoff to the RB, I doubt this really affects them all that much.

This guy Metz could be a better QB so don't count your chickens just yet. Of course, I want to see Michigan stomp on Wisc Go Blue!

am told just out of surgery doc who has done all the big names saying could be back in 2-4 and all up to him - not a big deal - will be fine
