If you follow Ant Wright on Twitter, he’s live streaming it.

Your a hero!

Watched the rest of the first half with Ant. Its pretty neat because he is narrating the live stream and breaking it down like a Coach would. I feel like I'll learn a bit from watching him. He said over 1000 viewers.

Sadly I cant find it on reddit. I don't think itll be posted either

Let’s shock the world...one game at a time off course. Go Blue!

We need to stay ON course

Fast start
up 14-4 livers 7 eli hit a 3

Very aggressive in transition so far. This could be a fun team to watch. BTN+ also has another game on 11/22, so for $16 you can watch 2 games in November and cancel. The broadcaster sounds like Robyn Leach. European accent more like a soccer announcer.

Nice play by the bench so far. I like what I’m hearing (radio)
November 1st, 2019 at 7:40 PM ^
Early thoughts: yikes.
November 1st, 2019 at 7:44 PM ^
Shot selection hasn't been great. Defense has been suspect at best. No sets are being run at all. This looks rickety. Not a lot of shooting or skill on this team.
Need Franz back soon because Brooks still looks like a MAC player.
November 1st, 2019 at 7:51 PM ^
Agree 100%
November 2nd, 2019 at 9:16 AM ^
Agree except for Brooks. He provides a steadiness that they lack at the 2 Guard spot. DDJ isn’t there yet and I worry that he may never be much.
November 1st, 2019 at 7:46 PM ^
Good start followed by some rough patches. NBA offensive philosophy of shoot the ball when you are open. Don’t pass up a decent look. However, ugh I worry about DeJulius and Nunez. I have yet to witness either one hit a 3 in a game. And the misses aren’t close. Hope they can get their confidence going.
November 1st, 2019 at 8:12 PM ^
Nunez just hit a triple (his first).
November 1st, 2019 at 7:48 PM ^
Fire Juwan!
Too soon?
Identifying and addressing such things is exactly why we play these games.
Gotta love our fan base

I cannot watch it. I also cannot watch M v OSU hockey.
fuck Delaney
November 1st, 2019 at 7:58 PM ^
Nice run to close the half. Livers looks like he has a better handle and is more aggressive in general. Shooting seems to be worse. Overall pretty sloppy performance so far. Nothing to be BPONE about though.
November 1st, 2019 at 7:58 PM ^
Wagner is desperately needed for his outside shooting if nothing else. Small lineup of Simpson, Brooks and DeJulius got abused on the defensive end in the first half.
November 1st, 2019 at 8:01 PM ^
Only watched a little so far, but a little concerned to see everybody just standing around on offense.
November 1st, 2019 at 8:18 PM ^
He is going to have growing pains man. He has never ran an offense before.
November 1st, 2019 at 8:24 PM ^
Up 58-38 w 11 min to play
Livers 17 Johns hit a couple 3s and X running the show.
November 1st, 2019 at 8:44 PM ^
2nd half thoughts:
Livers is a stud. Simpson and Teske look about the same as last year. Castleton and Johns each have a lot of skill. DeJulius is a bit of a chucker, he'll make some plays and then drive you crazy with others. Defense looks a bit rickety. Franz is badly needed back as a secondary scorer to Livers. I still don't know what Beilein and Jay Wright saw in Brooks.
November 1st, 2019 at 8:55 PM ^
Thats discouraging to hear about Brooks. Tim McCormick was raving about him in practice a few weeks ago, but maybe Eli is just a good practice player.
November 1st, 2019 at 9:04 PM ^
I mean Brooks had a double-double so I'm not sure he's had a "bad" game at all.
November 1st, 2019 at 9:15 PM ^
Pretty much all of his points came from the free throw line. He made one FG the entire game.
November 2nd, 2019 at 12:19 AM ^
That’s good...it means he was attacking the basket and drawing fouls, or pressuring defenders into fouling him. Putting the opposing team in foul trouble is a big deal
November 1st, 2019 at 9:08 PM ^
Disagree. I thought brooks looked good. Especially to end the game.
November 1st, 2019 at 9:22 PM ^
I was at the game. My impression re Brooks: he’s going to get a lot of minutes this year, he plays hard, he plays solid D, he rebounds. He is going to score a lot of points bc he is really aggressive in transition (this new philosophy will benefit him). He’s going to cause a lot of fan discomfort with a lot of turnovers.
November 1st, 2019 at 10:02 PM ^
Once Franz comes back his minutes are going to be significantly reduced. He plays out of control and doesn't make shots. That said he did a nice job grabbing some rebounds today and hitting his free throws. When I watch him I just don't see a B1G caliber player. Not singling him out either, I think Nunez has a long ways to go to. Don't think Beilein left Howard with much talent at the wing spot.
November 1st, 2019 at 10:40 PM ^
Maizen is still bashing Beilein, what a shocker.
November 1st, 2019 at 11:40 PM ^
I’m Keith Hernandez.
November 1st, 2019 at 9:00 PM ^
Second half as been marginally better. Shooting is an issue. Rebounding and shot blocking looks impressive. Hopefully Wagner adds some play making ability. Teske and Castleton got some run together, it didn’t look awkward atall. Nunez needs to improve his on ball defense. Tuesday night will be interesting.

If it's basketball season, it must be northernmich complaining about a 31 point victory in an exhibition game.
November 1st, 2019 at 10:24 PM ^
Ah yes, J. I don’t think I did that much complaining. Some things can be cleaned up, shooting will have to get better, and I think Wagner will help that. I still have high hopes for this team.
November 1st, 2019 at 9:06 PM ^
Exhibition game and early non conference games are meaningless. Important thing is to get in game experience and avoid any injuries. Idiots will overreact to big wins or terrible loses. One thing I learned from John Beilein basketball season starts after Christmas. Hopefully the same holds true with Juwan Howard. Go Blue!
November 1st, 2019 at 9:51 PM ^
Early non conference games are most definitely NOT meaningless in college basketball.
A bad loss or good win can determine whether you're on the right (or wrong) side of the bubble.
November 1st, 2019 at 10:25 PM ^
This is sort of wrong. Non-conference is difference between comfortably off of bubble and sweating it out on Selection Sunday. We need to try to get 2-3 big wins in non-conference out of 6.
November 1st, 2019 at 9:25 PM ^
My high-level impressions:
talked about brooks above, I thinks he’ll be a big contributor
Livers is a physical specimen
Johns made a couple of threes, his stroke is a lot smoother than I expected it to look. Could be huge if he can step out reliably
worried about the defense. Gave up a lot of good looks to a physically inferior team.
November 1st, 2019 at 9:46 PM ^
It’s amazing how quickly people are going to forget how bad the offense was last year and blame it on the new offensive system. This is a critically flawed roster from an offensive standpoint, getting out and running is the best thing we can do
