This was announced yesterday but thanks for posting as typically gametimes are indeed given on Mondays

Not official until we have a third thread about the start time.

I like Chic-Fil-A.

Can you give a summary of the thread?
November 5th, 2018 at 9:07 AM ^
There was some dick measuring.
November 5th, 2018 at 10:48 AM ^
So basically it was like every other thread.
Gotcha.

Who doesn't?
November 5th, 2018 at 9:02 AM ^
This means the 2nd and 3rd string players will be in the game by 4pm.

Here's a game summary, for the first time in awhile Rutgers went over the 300 yard mark in total offense on Saturday against Wisconsin in a 31-17 loss, which for Rutgers, is highly competitive, in a game in which Badger qb Alex Hornibrook was knocked out. The Scarlet Knights rank second to last of 130 college teams in total offense.
And their yardage per game offense is actually a slight improvement over a year ago. But they still average 267 yards less per game than Alabama. So......just use your imagine about what might happen this weekend in Piscataway.

That's stupid. Traveling out of town that day and was planning on watching the game at noon before leaving. Now I'll likely miss the entire game but I guess if I have to miss watching one game live, this would be the game.

You can always use the radio for any missed TV time. Michigan IMG station using the TuneIn Radio app.

love brandstatter, but he is the worst p-b-p guy ever.
November 5th, 2018 at 10:11 AM ^
Yeah, it is painful listening to him call a game. At the stadium they'll put together a first half highlight reel toward the end of halftime along with the radio call and I just can't help but cringe. He often provides little information during the actual play (and then it's usually done so in a very rushed manner) and on at least one occasion didn't even mention who was the recipient of a pass, just that it was completed.
It's obvious he's out of his element and is doing his best but the powers that be have to recognize that they are doing a disservice to their listeners and Jim.

and i didn't mind it so much when it was his first year doing it. we all have a learning curve. but what are we now, year 4? doing even a decent p-b-p isn't like asking him to land the space shuttle on the moon.
put a sign in front of him:
who - how (pass/run) - what distance gained or attempted.
answer those 3 every time, throw in what side of the field it was and you'd at least get the basics covered.

IT'S SACK TIME!!!!
November 5th, 2018 at 10:08 AM ^
I called the BTN on your behalf to see if they would change the start time to accommodate your schedule. They said they would look into it.

Doing it twice really defeats the purpose.
November 5th, 2018 at 9:32 AM ^
We really need the starters to rest in the entire second half. Let's hope it's 45-0 nothing at halftime.

Like or not Peters is the backup now. I want him to play at least 2 quarters. Light 'em up so he can get some reps.
November 5th, 2018 at 10:04 AM ^
This is probably worth a separate thread, but I also heard that they announced the Rutgers start time as 3:30.
November 5th, 2018 at 11:03 AM ^
AM or PM? Not a very useful comment unless you specify.
November 5th, 2018 at 10:05 AM ^
I like what Brian said about this game on Opponent Watch a week or two ago. When they play Michigan: the FCC may need to get involved.

I have never wanted a noon game in my life before but a noon game would have given me more time to play in NYC after.
November 5th, 2018 at 10:45 AM ^
NYC never sleeps ... plenty of time after that 2 hours transit time back to the city ! haha
Go Blue!

My travel schedule wouldn’t let me catch a game in A2 this year, so my 12-year-old son and I are driving up from DC for this one. 3:30 pm is perfect—get up at a decent time, listen to a recorded book on the way to and fro (Ready Player One), and back just after normal bed time. I hope it’s a huge M crowd, like when we go see M play Maryland in college park.
