Big 10 Championship Game Open Thread
No meteors seem in the forecast in the greater Indiana area per NASA, so we'll be forced to watch our top 2 competitors in the East face off. Short of a 25+ pt blowout MSU is destined for the Rose, OSU is playing for the right to give up 60 pts to Florida State.
Have at it....

Let this sink in for a minute:
Al Borges and Jim Bollman offenses combined to drop 75 pts on Ohio the last 2 weeks.

MSU, Auburn and Baylor all win. Congrats to all of them.
Again, it doesn't mean you can't win...doesn't mean you're not good.

MSU and Coach Dantonio.
Well deserved and hard earned.

I do hate how it's Auburn who gets to waltz to the championship game with one loss, but no mention of the Big Ten champions. The Big Ten really needs to get its shit together. MSU would have just as good of a case (not that I would want it) if not for national perception.

The Big Ten is not on par with the SEC. Auburn would beat anybody the Big Ten could come up with.

1 second being put (correctly) on the clock, that play never happens.
Regardless of whether its a good play, or planned, whatever. You still have to be damn lucky to pull that off.

Carlos Hyde finished the game with 18 carries for 118 yards. In the second half he had 81 yards on 10 carries. Meyer's got some 'splaining to do as to why he didn't see the ball on those crucial 3rd and 4th downs at the MSU 40.

yea i felt the playcalling was very borges like and that they made some obvious and predictable play calling on their last 2 drives when they could of easily scored.. what a joke

Plus why is msu always playing the victim game? They talk about how they had to prove it, play with a chip on their shoulder blah blah..Your the winners quit fuckin acting like your a victim
December 8th, 2013 at 12:31 AM ^
It helps a team remained focus and intense. I hope UM's plays with a chip on their shoulder next year. 7-5 should do that to a team.

fuckin Meyer didn't once say that MSU played great in the win...fuck him and fuck Ohio

Sugar will be Bama OSU. Bama will replace the SEC automatic, and OSU will get first at-large bid.

BCS bowls get to pick in this order:
Orange (replacement for FSU) - probably Clemson to keep ACC ties
Sugar (replacement for Auburn) - probably Alabama to keep SEC ties
Orange (first in at-large pecking order) - more than likely OSU
Sugar
Fiesta
It's highly doubtful that the Orange passes on Ohio St.

has OSU vs Clemson in the Orange Bowl and Bama vs Oklahoma in the Sugar.

Alabama will tear OKL a new one.
Bama/OSU Clemson/OKL is a much better match

Depends on which Bama team shows up. They laid a total egg against Utah one year in the Sugar Bowl after they ended up in the Sugar instead of the NC game.
