Same fucking thing we always see from this team.
November 17th, 2013 at 1:36 PM ^
Same bullshit we always see from this franchise. The team didn't come ready to play. So sick of this.
Oh and Gunther Cunningham is terrible.

Will the Lions ever be able to not be perfect without some sky-is-falling nancy saying "Same old Lions"?
We may never know.
November 17th, 2013 at 1:37 PM ^
There is no reason to have faith in the Lions.
November 17th, 2013 at 1:41 PM ^
Done what for years? Since 2000, the Lions have only had 5 seasons in which they finished with 6 wins. They already have 6 wins with 7 games to go.
They are decided not doing what they've done for years.
They're also driving to cut the score to 7. Why don't you wait a bit before letting sporting events effect your mood so negatively.

This team is doing what they always do.
Same Old Lions.

The Lions aren't coming back in this one. Oh, sure, they'll make it respectable in the second half, but the Lions are done.
6-4.

I guess Megatron's gonna have to be Megatron again.
November 17th, 2013 at 1:33 PM ^
is the one killing us on offense.
Missing 2 sure TD's.
And yea....the defense looks pitiful so far.

Go Browns!
Two picks of Dalton in the first quarter by Hayden and we're up 13-0.
WOO Brownies WOO

Thanks. I went hunting (belong to a deer hunting club near Alpena) so I was enroute back to Cleveland and listened to the first quarter on the radio, and then watched the game via DVR. At least the first OT I did - after that the recording ran out and I had to switch to the internet to find out we won.
You know what's funny and maybe a bit sad? I wasnt upset at what I was watching - I'm just numb to everything that's happening so while I wanted us to win I wasnt all that upset - I fully expected it.
And since I foolishly posted my "woo Browns" post we've thrown a pick that the Bengals converted into a TD and now just had a punt blocked. I KNEW I was sorely tempting the football Gods by actually calling attention to something GOOD happening with Cleveland.

No. Originally from Pontiac. Went to Cranbrook and then graduated from U of M in 1981. Lived out on the west coast till 87 then got transferred here with work in and lived here ever since. My dad belonged to the club, then my brother and finally me.
BTW...I had a shot at a nice 10 point and MISSED. That kinda sucked.

Anybody got a link to a solid feed for this. NC doesn't seem to realize that this is an important game.

I'm not sure of the actual numbers, but just based on feeling it sure seems like reggie bush fumbles more than any player in the league thats not a QB
November 17th, 2013 at 1:58 PM ^
He's definitely a gamer. Hopefully he keeps the fumbles to a minimum and the turnovers to even less.

The Lions just cannot break free from orbiting Planet Mediocrity. Try as they might, Mediocrity's gravitational pull always manages to reel the Lions back in, preventing them from ever reaching that rarified air programs like the Giants and Steelers always seem to reach. They'll be down a few seasons, but then when they bounce back, they reach the top, unfettered by the gravitational pull of Planet Mediocrity that claims our Lions as a satellite.
November 17th, 2013 at 1:57 PM ^
Dang it, I wondered why the Steelers were 3-6 and now I'm wondering even more. The Lions need to get it together; lots of game time left but they are in danger of getting blown out of this stadium.

and that's coming from a guy who's about to distroy his 60 inch plasma with the remote...good hold for the FG, still plenty of time left in the game...

Couldn't help but noticing the Raiders score. Is that THE Matt McGloin going off for 2 TD's in the 1st quarter?!

Stafford and the offense just shredded the Steelers.
Pittsburgh better hope for a first down, otherwise they might not still have the lead going into half.
