Does anyone else find the insane number of personal fouls called this year to be ruining the game? I was watching the Ravens game the other day and after watching for a total of 15 minutes, saw FOUR personal fouls called. Maybe one was justified. Add to that the fact that the announcers must be told by the NFL to stick with the refs, because they aren't making a peep. I know, safety, safety, safety. But if this is the way the NFL is going to be played, I'll just end up watching less. Goodell can make his decision and I can make mine.

Agreed. I was watching a game last night in which the DL hit the QB (Brady Quinn I think) AS HE WAS THROWING IT and got called for roughing the passer.

Yes, but my points are not. Anyways, since I can't start a thread to ask this minor question (it's still the offseason, so I can ask stupid questions) I will here. I was at a friend's house and he made a coffee table that had random news clippings, pictures, tickets, etc under a glass top as a collage. Unfortunately, I don't have a collection of such clippings to make a table (which is going to be my next project). Does anyone know where I could get newspapers from Ann Arbor, either current or from years past? Or tickets or other memorabilia? If anyone wants to know more I could try to upload a picture of the table (it was Georgia themed).

in recent Michigan Football History, seeing Michigan Men like Junior (and Kovacs and Denard and Martin, etc.---players who have made us and especially themselves proud despite all that was going on around them for most of their careers) get their shot and possibly succeed in the NFL really makes me feel good about their perseverence . Guys like them are living proof of that famous phrase of Bo's, "THOSE WHO STAY WILL BE CHAMPIONS!"
In the meantime, what can we do (in the absense of the voting system) to prod the mods to open the pipeline to Bolivia a bit? Between "Wolverines Dominate" and "no-ot", an otherwise perfectly good thread was trashed. As was pointed out here and on a few other threads by many of us lately, the two of them seem to have little if anything to contribute, other than smarmy negative remarks regarding thread-worthiness.
