Wow, it is hard to find this guy if you Google search "Mo Ways." If you're in the same pickle, try "Maurice Ways."

Here's his junior film from youtube.. it is highlight tape, but you can definitely see why the coaches offered him.

but if you are and for those who may wonder the same, his name is Tyler Weigers and he just committed to Rutgers last week. Ive seen some people ask sarcastically as well as an equal amount generally serious. To whom it may concern:

I, too, was impressed by the QB. Nice zip when needed to thread the needle and was able to take a bit off when he needed to lob it over a defender. Not surprised to see him get (and accept) a BCS-level offer.
FWIW, I ranked Wiegers #4 of the QB prospects Michigan was considering (behind Cornwell, O'Connor, and Henderson).

Classic Magnus oversell

we should also have a chat with the QB who seems to hit him in stride most of the time. Kid can sling it.
there are Mo Ways than one to find him on the internet!

Relatively unknown guy forcing highly ranked dudes to commit? Unlikely
April 18th, 2013 at 10:08 PM ^
why would him not being as high ranked not speed things up with the other wr's? they all know there is only 3 spots.
April 18th, 2013 at 10:30 PM ^
There R only three spots*

We're going to have to write you a ticket for impersonating an officer.

I'm excited for this kid. I think he's got huge upside and great potential to be a serious weapon in our offense. Having Drake Harris and Mo Ways... great wide receiver haul for the '14 class. If Ways drops, then I think KJ would be next.

Most likely they'd both be split wide. They're looking at players like Artavis Scott for the slot role.
(KJ Williams potential commitment notwithstanding)

you if I could! lol Way to go coach! lol
April 19th, 2013 at 10:36 AM ^
Maybe he's the receivers coach.
April 18th, 2013 at 11:12 PM ^
That's weird. You have a piss poor secondary...so against the teams that presumably have better secondaries, he had 49 catches for about 950 yards and 9 touchdowns.
Maybe he was just having an off night. Or maybe his QB was having an off night.
April 18th, 2013 at 10:39 PM ^
Is not a slot.
April 18th, 2013 at 10:13 PM ^
seems like we are stuck with all these tall, fast type wide recievers with the current coaching regime.

FIRE BEILEIN!
April 18th, 2013 at 10:14 PM ^
if Ways were to commit, and it'd be a slot guy like Scott or McCaffrey.
April 18th, 2013 at 10:33 PM ^
plus whoever commits first (Ways/Williams)
and then Scott

Man, we have been eating well off these local receivers. I dig it!

It was only a matter of time, Tremendous had hinted that this offer was coming sooner rather than later.
April 18th, 2013 at 10:21 PM ^
I was really hoping we would offer him after watching his film
April 18th, 2013 at 10:27 PM ^
Looks like Randy Moss, but more of an athletic freak.

I've been on the Maurice Ways bandwagon since I saw his junior film. I thought he might have to wait a little longer, but he's a pretty good athlete. I've heard that he's inconsistent catching the ball, but hopefully he can shore up that aspect of his game.
April 18th, 2013 at 10:35 PM ^
Detroit Mackenzie. His 'wordsmithing. was a art of beauty. Talkabout a 'coach killer'...pretty much NAILED it on a certain tuos coach. I still chuckle about it today...
April 18th, 2013 at 11:36 PM ^
He looks like he has good tools. Goes up and catches the ball, runs pretty good routes, long and athletic, and has good enough speed to be a solid possession type. Reminds me a bit of an Adrian Arrington type.
Reminds me a bit of an Adrian Arrington type.
I'd take that in a heartbeat.
Another Braylon comparison...
