MBB 2nd Half Thread vs. Indiana
Alright, Shaky start but good play by our boys most of the way, we need to keep it going.
I figured I'd start another thread cause the other one was getting slow per usual.
Go Blue, let's put up another banner!
keeping us in it...but why do we dribble for 20 seconds without reversing the ball. Not good
Gotta finish. But he crossed the SHIT out of him.
18 pts, 5/8 3 pts, 4 assists, 3 steals, 4 rebounds. I'll take some more hero ball, please.
Friendly rim.
Haha, what a ridiculous 3 Burke made. I'll take it, but, damn. That was pure luck.
payback for the clanked three in Columbus
Leave it all on the floor for this last four minutes.
Redacted because my statement made no sense.
WHAT ARE THEY LOOKING AT?!!
Serious guys, I've never complained about the officials this much in my LIFE!
This has gotten out of control with all the bad calls/no calls.
Anyone else think the refs are handing IU some extra possessions with these out of bounds calls?
Might only be fair to see some bonus basketball in overtime
That said, we just need the win. Period. I'll get all romantic after we get the W.
Refs terrible out of bounds call. I think that was Olidipo that knocked it out of bounds, called to Indiana (for some reason).
Yeah, we've been getting humped by the refs, but gotta play thru it.
We just need to get STOPS.
Burke's mindset can't be about matching them shot for shot. We need to have the mindset as a TEAM that "okay, they're done scoring for today, period."
We need to make every single shot as difficult as a Trey Burke step back 3. Because they don't have Trey Burke to make it.
Harrowing
i'm all kinda nervous right now
POY!
Playing hard, playing tough, so stop whining about them......
The most nerve-wracking regular season game ever.
Burke hero ball <<<<<<
I think Burke has settled the player of the year conversation with this second half. Now go out and win the damn game.
Come on man...you've got teammates, run the offense.
2:43 left in the game. This is going to be a looong half-hour.
Gotta go in and out and stop settling for perimeter shots
slap the floor we need a stop D
Stops. Stops. Stops.Stops. Stops. Stops.Stops. Stops. Stops.Stops. Stops. Stops.Stops. Stops. Stops.Stops. Stops. Stops.Stops. Stops. Stops.Stops. Stops. Stops.Stops. Stops. Stops.Stops. Stops. That's what we need. D UP!
dust off the backdoor cut just once for me. Picture Burke threading the needle to a flying GRIII for a slam
I'm in a love-hate relationship with Burke taking over the game. He puts the team on his back and carries us to victory (see Purdue, for example) but sometimes it results in possessions like that. Bad possession, bad shot. Bad pretty much everything.
reduced to Burke step-back J's, we are DONE.
Burke is a better PG when he gets everyone involved, and takes the open shots that come his way.
ACTIVATE HEROBALL!!!
what the fuck was that???
Glad Burke made that, but I don't want it to encourage him to take more shots like that lol
We haven't been able to stop them, we've got to throw a different look at them.
Let's go 1-3-1 or 2-3 for this possession.
These refs. Hulls allowed to undercut Burke. No call.
