but certainly possible. Really the only credible reason why he did not play in the fourth quarter. Otherwise, Borges benched hte greatest offensive threat ever to wear "M" in the fourth quarter of the Game, down by a touchdown.

He set the former record today. But, I'm sure that there are a lot of other meaningful offensive statistics beside scoring and yardage gained.

Well, those guys didn't play 13-game seasons and have the ball in their hands on every play. Apples and oranges.

I saw him jumping up and down with his helmet on, FWIW

If he could hang onto a ball, there was no excuse not to have him out there.

He had one more carry, gained one on 2nd and 2 in the first series of the fourth quarter.

I wondered the same thing. An injury would sure explain a lot.

Given how well having Gardner and Robinson in the backfield worked in the 1st half, it is beyond comprehension keeping him off the field for that much of the 2nd half.
The 2nd half was truly disastrous offensive playcalling.

Why wasn't he out there at least as a decoy? I realize his pass blocking was great, but he was the only threat OSU respected with regards to running the ball.

and, as far as I know, no injury to Denard. We simply saw what worked on offense for 1 1/2 games being inexplicably shelved in the 2nd half today.

As seen on a Devin sack earlier in the game, Denard offers nothing in terms of protection on passing downs. Could have been used as a receiver, but he wasn't going to be an effective blocker to give Devin time.

Denarad and Devin on the last couple of series, and a series of terrible brainfart up-the-gut calls in the fourth quarter, we can legitimately question some of the playcalling at crunch time this year.
Everything else I'm seeing here is Michigan fanst being Michigan State fans, however. Which about goes with the general deterioration of discourse on this blog.

I prefer to think that the Iowa OC kidnapped Borges at halftime and took over.

he was hurt by a guy named borges who decided to take him out
