Hahah beat me by that much.... and we had the exact same thread title(!)
I know that freaked me out for a second I thought I posted it twice.
Aaron Lynch, their best returning DL, is rumored to have left campus.
That guy looked like an NFL player last year as a freshman.
you never know. Should know more by the end of the day.
This would be one great, big pile of awesome for us.
Lynch would have caused a lot of problems for us against the interior of our line.
Good luck Devin. Have fun going 7-5 every year in crappy South Bend.
Exactly this. Pains me to see a DC kid make such an awful choice.
After all the recruits that bailed on ND last year, I am having a hard time believing any of them will actually suit up or sign their LOI for ND. Just a matter of time before Purple Face makes them reconsider.
No kidding. They are leaving / changing their minds left and right. I would be surprised if half of these guys actually sign and stay with ND.
What could have been if Urban hadn't "cooled" on him. Maybe Devin can bring some luck back to the Irish. They seem to be in short supply lately.
light after decades of mediocrity shows, it's that there are a pile of structural features that will keep the school viable, sportswise, for many moons to come. It may require yet another coach, but sooner or later a betting person would assume they will begin to get some of it right.
I'm so jealous of ND now
Pretty sad to look at ND's women's basketball team to overlook how horrible ND's most prestigious and storied football program is. Keep up the good work Kelly.
The Mathis visit is back on this weekend so I already forgot about Devin Butler.
Yeah, I have to say, that all things considered, Kelly is quietly putting together a nice recruiting class.
While I'm quite sure that ND is inferior to UM when it comes to football programs, some people just aren't a fit to be Michigan Men. I wish Devin the best, and look forward to beating him everytime we play ND.
