2011 recruiting
Yeah I know, I know...WAAAAAAAAAAAY too early. And I agree too. Howeva...I was thinking when reading about how this time last year we knew all about Ricardo, M-Rob, and Gardner and how we wanted those guys. This made me think, are there any 2011 guys who are big name recruits like those 3 who are favoring Michigan? I'm just really curious now.
Watch out for a kid named Jimmy Neutron .. he is out of this galaxy
he has a lot of stars.
To get Neutron, you'll also have to offer Sheen.
What about Carl? Those two girls are supposed to be cheerleaders too.

Carl's supposed to be a 4-star offensive tackle and Sheen reportedly ran a 4.3 40.
DeAnthony Arnett is a WR from Saginaw. He's supposed to be really good, and favoring Michigan. Demetrius Hart, Ricardo Miller's former teammate, is a running back that will be committing soon.
Demetrius Hart will be committing soon to us? Or he's planning on making his decision soon in general?
Arnett was the kid I was trying to think of. I knew about Demetrius Hart. I've heard he's a f'ing awesome running back. Can you speculate on what type of rating we can expect from these kids who Michigan leads for? Or is it too early to say?
about Demetrius Hart is that he is supposed to be an absolute beast, 5 star stuff, I think he's a little small though. But then again Ricardo and MRob were "without a doubt 5 stars" until the rankings come out. But regardless of possible star rankings, Hart looks to be a solid player for M in the future.

I don't think he's a 5 star. Everyone needs to remember, there's only 25-30 five stars each year, so it's pretty hard to get that fifth star. I think, in the end, he'll be a 4 star.

man it would be nice to have another Hart in the Michigan backfield, wouldn't it?
Just wondering if anyone has seen or heard of Arnett's teammate at Saginaw named Hayes? I forgot his first name but heard he was a legitimate WR prospect? How many WR's do we take next year since we got 5-6 commits this year?
from Grand Blanc. Or is there another Hayes out there?
Because Justice Hayes is a very good RB prospect that was at UM camp
http://www.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=85603&sport=1
who Justice Hayes is. I did some research and found it was Greg Hayes, Arnett's teammate at Saginaw whom I was referring to. Thanks for the effort though. Arnett is the better prospect but Greg Hayes will probably get MAC offers. The article said Arnett and Jarvis Landry, a WR from LA, were by far the two most impressive WR's at the TENN camp and should be top 10 in the nation next year.
and yeah Arnett has done really well on the summer camp circuit. I have read he may have some interest in the southern schools like Tennessee and Oklahoma as well.
I have tried to find video on Demetrius Hart .. but nothing showed up .. anybody with a link to some highlights could probably get themselves a +1
Even though this had piss poor results .. it was effort none the less ... +1
Needs to work on pad level.
Your 1 tough scout ... one 14 second sweep around the corner and your ready to throw the kids pad level under the bus
KID'S pad level UNDER BUS kid has GOOD pad level.
+1 ... but only because the other team had the ugly old school New England Patriot hiking the ball on their helmets... and thats not easy to find.
Here's two pretty good video's of Hart.

my god....

+1 Video#2 is just sick. The kid must be made of slime, no one can hold on to him or bring him down. Every touch is good for 50.

and I was stunned.... I was like DAYUM, BOY GOT WHEELS. He has the highlight reel ability of Noel Devine O_O

the videos. How good did he look? What type of speed does he have?
August 3rd, 2009 at 11:07 PM ^
Good top end. Looks slippery as hell. Breaks tackles. Great vision. This kid looks legit. And all the highlights are as a sophomore.
Havent seen any film on him but from what I've read he is really good. he might be on some film of Ricardo Miller if you can find those.
What's the word on Chaz Miller(younger brother of Ricardo)? I know he plays basketball and he's going to be a Sophmore this fall. Does he have any skills on the court or on the football field???
Does he only play b-ball??
any good names out in 011 like Munchie?
How about God's Power Offer? That one's gonna be hard to beat.

If you click the link from EDSBS, there are some solid names out of Miami-Dade in 2011...

I'm pretty sure that God's Power Offer can't be beat. Not only is there an apostrophe in there but it's three actual words and refers to an omnipotent being. I think the only way to beat that is with a name that's funny/fun to say. On the awesomeness scale* God's Power Offer is very high.
*The awesomeness scale is generally agreed to have been created in the Garden of Eden and Adam deemed Eve to be more awesome then the snake (inspiring its later rebellion) or the tiger but less awesome than the platypus. Most scholars now accept that the lowest rating of the awesomeness scale is "Brian Collins" (awesomeness exemplified here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehhCvk03tNI) while the highest rating is generally deemed the "Tom Brady". Some people disagree and say that after his last Superbowl loss Brady has shown that he's not made of awesomeness which is what the definition of the top rating of the awesomeness scale. They claim that the top rating should actually be called "The Beatles" since they're more popular than Jesus (in music popularity=awesomeness) and Jesus was the top spot holder until Brady. The debate rages on.

Tony DePriest, OLB from Ohio.

Trey?

my bad.
Greg Brown is suppose to be a Michigan lean. This is the same school that produced Charles Woodson.
Demetrius Hart, Greg Brown, Trey DePriest and DeAnthony Arnett. All of them should garner a lot of BCS offers when it all is said and done. Hart and Arnett are likely to commit once they get an official offer which is a day or two after the NSD.
I think they can start making official offers in September or October of their Junior year?
"Hart has said in the past that he’d probably commit to Michigan as soon as he can get an offer in writing (September 1st, for the record), so this information is not surprising."

Heres a name for you. Allen Gant. maybe Alan idk. plays at Sylvania Southview. Caught a sick touchdown in the state championship game as a freshman. If what I've heard is true he is Woodsons nephew and his dad or another uncle played in the NFL.
He is an Ohio State lean.
