Nvm, beat to the punch.
Ojemudia looks nasty in his film though.

My two cents..Dunn is a solid RB..not elite IMO..i think its 50/50 right now for his services..Yuri Wright and Armani Reeves are both being recruited heavily by UM and i think Yuri is very likely to end up in this class and Armani will at least give us a visit.
Payton will not be a Wolverine

I think Fred Jackson disagrees, Dunn runs like Anthony Thomas with Tyrone Wheatley speed.

Thanks again for doing these updates. Keep 'em comin'.

I will get negged for this but our obsession with Dunn on this board is getting out of control. He is not Adrian Peterson. I would love to have him but if he goes to the buckeyes then so be it, we have a proven stud in Fitz for another year or two and there are some decent runners behind him.
Justice Hayes was ranked by Rivals significantly higher as an RB last year than Dunn is this year. If Dunn goes to OSU then he can have fun learning the difference between what Urban Meyer says about RBs in his system and what actually occurs with RBs in his system.

Couldn't Agree more

he is a power runner that works in our system but he isn't a game changer. Keith Marshall and Ty Isaac are game changers.

The kid id a solid player, but the obsession goes beyond that. Its having the opportunity to flip another 5 star kid out of Ohio.....it feels more like psychological warfare just for the sake of it bothering Ohio fans.

I don't care who is ranked where by Rivals, Scout, or whatever. It's pretty clear that our coaching staff greatly wants Dunn. That's all the information I need.
You can never have enough tailback depth. Toussaint will be a redshirt junior next year. If he rushes for 1,000 yards again, we can't assume he'll stick around for year 5. Shaw is gone after this year and Smith will be a senior next year . . . so we could be looking at a completely different running game in 2013. Maybe someone already on the roster will be able to fill the void, but that's far from certain.

I'm excited to see how Thomas Rawls does next year. I still don't understand not redshirting him, but I guess Hoke and Jackson have other plans.

is getting an in-home visit from the coaches either tonight or tomorrow night.

before signing day. Any big negatives from that report can "change the tide". It appears to me that the NCAA is letting tsio operate in "business as normal" fashion until after the bowls. Look at USC this year ... the bowl ban had a big impact on their season as they would have played Oregon for the PAC12 title & no bowl game. Next 3 years are the scholarship reductions ... which will hurt their depth. No doubt that USC has survived just fine. I am looking for something along the same line for tsio .... just a waiting period ....
Go Blue!

I can't post but apparently Diamond had the "time of his life" at Ohio this weekend on his official visit according to Allen Trieu.

It seems like every place he goes he has the time of his life.

He should bring all his stuff, enroll and stay awhile. No need spending the extra gas money to head back.

Payton looks like he will go to Cal. He tweeted "sraeb lac :)" which meens Cal Bears obviously and that he loves Cali.
Also Manti Teo just anounced he is coming back.

I looked up how a few of the sites rank Payton and Chesson amongst the WRs.
Jordan Payton #14 (Scout), #20 (Rivals), #25 (ESPN)
Jehu Chesson #77 (Scout), #90 (Rivals), #51 (ESPN)
So, we'll take Chesson and be done and miss out on Payton, the "better" prospect of the two?

From his scout profile:
STRENGTHS |
Competitiveness |
Hands and Concentration |
Toughness |
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT |
Elusiveness with Catch |
Strength |
Tall, lanky receiver who can go up and get the ball. Snatches it easily out of the air, but lets too many underneath passes get into his body. Great natural athlete with good leaping ability and straight line speed, but is not an elusive guy after the catch. Must add some bulk and strength, but is tough and willing to go over the middle and make catches. - Allen Trieu
Those seem like all things that he can work on once he goes to college. His strengths are things you can't really teach but you need in a wide out. He's a bit of a sleeper, and I'll take his strengths on my team any day. I'm pretty sure Brady Hoke will too.
(I understand the ranking. I just don't think the ranking means everything)
