| 9 weeks 2 days ago | We go over this every year... |
We go over this every year... No matter how much fans clamor for it, Beilein is not going to play two bigs for a majority of the minutes. It's just not going to happen. Having a 4 who can stretch the defense is critical to his offense. And GRIII would need a lot of work to play the 3. He can't even dribble drive on the 4's he plays against now.

FWIW on the OLine... Over at the TheWolverine, one of the mods has been hinting at some stuff on the OL that is not what is expected. Said that the left side of the line would be very powerful, but specifically mentioned that he wasn't referring to Kalis or Schofield at LG. It was strongly hinted that the coaches would be trying out a Bryant-Kalis-Braden interior line combo. |
| 13 weeks 1 day ago | I had the exact same issue, |
I had the exact same issue, and it was a real pain to get fixed. I maintained a Michigan license and paid taxes in Michigan throughout my time in the military. Still got classified as out of state after being back in Michigan for 3 years and paying bills, taxes, etc. the whole time. Needless to say they make it a huge hassle to correct something which should never have been an issue in the first place. |
| 21 weeks 5 days ago | No, I think Hardaway is gone |
No, I think Hardaway is gone after this year. He would probably be better served staying all 4 years but I think he will leave with Burke. Stauskas may eventually be a 2, but this year he is the 3 and THJ the 2. If THJ returns I think you see... 2 - THJ/LeVert 3 - Stauskas/Irvin
If THJ leaves I think you will see Stauskas taking roughly 33 minutes with LeVert/Irvin dividing the other 47 between the two of them. |

| 21 weeks 5 days ago | Both Walton and Irvin should |
Both Walton and Irvin should be top 25 prospects by the time they arrive at Michigan. Whether they actually get rated that way or not remains to be seen. As Brian points out, everyone could see that Stauskas was better than his rankings indicated, while the hobbit from NC State was a McDonalds All American. Walton badly outplayed Kasey Hill (top 10 player and #1 or #2 PG to most sites) over the summer. He has only improved every time I have seen him. His skill set fits perfectly with the roster that we will have next year as he is a distributor first and he will have so many weapons at his disposal. I remember back to Irvin's recruitment there was some discussion if we should take Irvin, VJ Beachem or some others. As it seems is always the case (was with Walton as well), the guy who Beilein selects ends up skyrocketing. I love Donnal's potential but I see him redshirting next year with Morgan, McGary, Robinson III, Horford and Beilfeldt all fighting for minutes at the 4/5. Next year will be an even bigger fight for minutes, especially if THJ returns. How do you divide up 80 minutes between THJ, Stauskas, Levert and Irvin? |

Exactly. That's why Spike was the perfect PG recruit this year. He will back up Walton next year and help him get his feet wet. Probably will player closer to 10 minutes a game next year while Walton gets up to speed. Great guy to have on the team |
| 30 weeks 22 hours ago | On another note, Caris LeVert |
On another note, Caris LeVert is getting rave reviews from pretty much everyone who has seen him play. One insider on Rivals went so far as to refer to him as a future NBA player. Beilein may have found another gem. |
| 32 weeks 22 hours ago | Reports from insider types on |
Reports from insider types on Rivals indicate that Levert is going to be a big time player. The gist of one post said he went from a guy who was considered a surefire redshirt to a guy who often times is one of the handful of best players on the court. I am really intrigued by his skill set and length, though he does need to add some muscle for sure. |

Parker is very good, but he is not even the best prospect in high school right now. Andrew Wiggins is the closest thing to LeBron in some time. |
| 34 weeks 6 days ago | We have 6 turnovers against |
We have 6 turnovers against ND and lost by a touchdown. I don't see any way we lose to any of Illinois, Iowa or Minnesota. Those are bad, bad football teams. Purdue is a much better team and shouldn't be lumped in that group.

| 36 weeks 6 days ago | I'd be pretty surprised if |
I'd be pretty surprised if Bolden and Ross aren't the new starters going forward. Bolden is almost a guarantee. Probably only a matter of time before Pipkins is as well. I focused on him when he was in the game and I think he played pretty well. AJ Williams was in a lot but I didn't notice his play one way or the other. Funchess obviously played great. Jarrod Wilson got a lot of run in the 2nd half but I can't say whether he was good or bad. Ojemudia had a few good plays, especially the 3rd down stop in the red zone that led to the failed fake field goal attempt. Norfleet obviously looks dangerous and is going to break one soon IMO. They need to work him into the regular offense as well, he is too dangerous not to touch the ball at least a few times a game. |

Not trying to be a downer or anything but there is like a 1% chance he ends up here. Hyron Edwards is a much more realistic target |

Man does the Big Ten look awful overall. Nebraska has impressed me today though. Looking like a good bet that the Legends champ will win the conference championship. |

If anyone on this staff is going to replace Mattison, I would put my money on Mallory. |
| 41 weeks 5 days ago | Depending on league scoring |
Depending on league scoring and how favorable it is to TE's, I would consider Tyler Eifert of Notre Dame. The top TE's seem to remain the top TE's, while RB's and WR's are harder to project. A RB I really love who doesn't get a lot of publicity is Christine Michael of Texas A&M. I could see him shooting up the draft board next year. Giovanni Bernard out of UNC is another to consider. At WR I would look at Justin Hunter and D'Arick Rogers of Tennessee, and Terrance Williams of Baylor. If you are more of a risk taker, Andre Debose of Florida is a high risk/high reward pick. |

IMO it is likely he never plays basketball at Michigan. I expect something similar to the Ben Cronin situation to play out with Hatch. |

Reggie Cameron comes in at #67 as well. He seems to be our best bet to add a player to the 2013 class. |

| 1 year 13 weeks ago | This team is playing a much |
This team is playing a much better brand of basketball now than they were just a few weeks ago. I honestly see a very slim chance that we lose any of @Illinois, Purdue or @ Penn St. Illinois is falling apart and got destroyed by Nebraska, Purdue will not win in Ann Arbor, and we will not lose to a league bottom feeder like Penn St. to end the season (I know we lost to Iowa earlier but like I said this team is playing different ball now).
Northwestern game I would give us about a 60% chance of winning. It is a quick turnaround on the road against a team playing for a spot in the NCAA tournament, so it won't be easy. But if we execute the way he have been for the last couple weeks I think we take that game.
I think we finish 4-0, and have to endure watching every Michigan St. game hoping that they slip up along the way. |
| 1 year 14 weeks ago | Not sure about your chances |
Not sure about your chances out of HS, I never applied out of HS. I will say if you don't get accepted, you can just go to a community college for a year and get in that way. Pretty much anything over a 3.5 with the right clsses will get you in via transfer. I transfered in after a year at Oakland Community College with a 4.0 and I was accepted basically immediately. |
| 1 year 14 weeks ago | Definitely agree on the bowl |
Definitely agree on the bowl locations. I went to the Sugar Bowl this year (my first bowl game), primarily because the game was in New Orleans. I viewed it as a fun trip to a cool city with a football game (that only cost me $5), thrown in on the side.
Not really sure I would make the trip to any bowl game with the game being the primary focus of that trip. |

Now this may sound completely crazy but a few hints dropped on rivals...
One was that this was from "Left.......Field"
Another poster who is very well connected asking if anyone remembers John David Booty from USC.
For those that don't remember, Booty was a QB who ended up graduating HS a year early and enrolling at USC a year earlier than expected.... |
