Why is it so bad that a band that loves michigan is gaining popularity?
November 4th, 2011 at 12:14 AM ^
Because they suck.

Honestly, I think Pop evil is starting to change the tide against piped in music. Hell, even people in Ohio are starting to listen to them. Never in a million year would I have heard that. Grooming dogs is a good start.

The high-end cultural life of the State of Ohio does not condone this type of behavior. So many people down here have terrible taste in music.

I live in Tucson, Arizona, and I frequently hear advertisement for an upcoming Pop Evil show, 2000 miles away from Michigan...

...I would imagine that the backup plan, if we're reaching thisfar already, was to have someone consume an entire pot roast to "Rhapsody In Blue". Actually, that might be more entertaining.

but I really liked The Big House when it was piped UTL. A lot of us old farts were the rock and roll generation. We're not that far over the hill. I like that it is "our" own pump up tune. It shouldn't be repeated ad nauseam, but once or twice a game would be fine.

While this discussion has moved on to the (lack of) merits of Pop Evil, I'm still trying to understand this thread/title....

Can probably blame our local GR radio station, WGRD for this mess. Free beer & hotwings show relentlessly promoted their album across their syndicated channels when they first hit the scene. I got sick of them back in '08

3 Doors Down is a terrible band. Every single one of their songs sounds exactly the same to me. I couldn't tell you the difference if my life depended on it. They may as well be Nickelback.

I thought 3 doors down was Nickleback? I guess its hard keeping up with shitty music.

See, they can work together to fight true evil.

I thought you were asking for recommendations for dog groomers in Toledo, so I was going to suggest Mutt Cutts.

The Octane channel had one of their songs in their Top Ten best new songs list.

Can we make sure that Pop Evil is spayed? It's the loving thing to do.

Just heard one of the band memebers interviewed by Frank Beckmann (M's radio PBP guy). He was beside himself praising the dog groomers hoping that they will be invited to the Big House *this* fall!

make you popular nowadays?

Let me guess: did Brian once refer to Pop Evil as "dog groomers"? The way some people here parrot everything he says is a little excessive.
