Jordan diamond verbal to michigan?
There's a silent commit as of today, so your guess is as good as mine. But if I was a betting man it would be ron Thompson. Would love it if it was diamond though
the thing that holds me back about thompson is that he was on th everge of announcing last week so if he commits i dont see it being a silent one.
that the said silent was a defensive player. So if Diamond actually did verbal, that would make 2 more in addition to the two LBs.
Yep, whoever the silent is, isn't on the offensive side of the ball. At least according to Tom Beaver. I"m gonna guess its either Sheldon Day or Joe Bolden...
edit- Also too the OP. There's no thread on Scout saying Diamond committed, I have Premium.
Sorry about that I was reading on bucknuts that a person was reading on scout that that's what was posted.
Could be what Tom tweeted about a silent commit but wont hear about it for a while.
It makes since becuase we have been his leader but he has said he doesnt want to make an announcement because his recruitment is bringing scouts to the school that will allow his teammates to be seen more than if he went ahead and committed.
so it is confirmed that it is a defensive player? Or would you understandingly not want the give that up.
you are talking about a player who won't be on the field until about 2015, when our current freshman class will already be graduated, I think I will worry about that recruitment at a later date.
write a block that doesn't have a question? Which is then followed by WILD SPECULATION! And subsequently write another hyperbolic exclamation!
But seriously. A sophmore? I feel weird enough already speculating about rising Seniors who are over a year away from their redshirt.. don't. Just don't.

As much as I would like to know who it is I would rather Tom not tell us because the kid obviously doesn't want everyone to know. Espically after what happened with Ringer and the Dayton Daily
Read from above his post and put it into context. .. . .
Silent committments are so lame. Hello post or it never happened.
Talk about couples looking more and more like each other as they get older...
Hopefully we'll know more tomorrow with Sam's Gut feeling on WTKA...this is killing me!
Sorry commented in the wrong place
Had it been a silent comment it might have gone unnoticed...at least until Sam had a gut feeling about said silent comment. But no, you went and verbally commented...and in the wrong place...egads!
What are the main reasons or pros to silent commitments?
Well most players use it as a way to reserve a spot while they don't wanna publicly announce it
There are a number of reasons to silent commit. As one poster stated: It could be to draw scouts to a school that doesn't get scouted too much for the sake of other team mates.
It could also be that a recruit wants to take free official visits on some other university's dime in the fall.
If a recruit is at a school that is a traditional pipeline for a differnent school he wouldn't have to hear about the "wrong" choice he made for the rest of his highschool football career.
I'm sure there are other reasons , but those are the ones that immediately come to mind.
The advantage is being able to travel around the country on someone elses dime. I see it as a gamble, but who am I?

First of all, as others have said, let's focus on this class. Also, you do realize that nobody on this board has any influence over who the staff looks at right? Finally, if somebody doesn't want to come to Michigan because we didn't offer him as a sophomore he probably has some character issues.
Let's not forget about Bill Brasky, the QB/RB/TE/WR/OT/LB/CB/DT out of Detroit Holy Catholic Powers Northwest Central River Heights High. He's a two ton man-mountain who could palm a medicine ball! One time I was with Brasky in the back of a pickup truck, along with a live deer. Brasky goes up to the deer and says, "I'm Bill Brasky! SAY IT!" Then he manipulates the deer's lips in such a way as to make it say, "Billbrasky." It wasn't exactly like it, but it was pretty good for a deer.

Bill Brasky is a ten-foot tall beast man, who showers in vodka, and feeds his baby shrimp scampi.
He is currently ranked eighteenth in the AP college football poll.

If Tacopants is being guarded by Bill Brasky, who comes down with the football? What about if Tacopants is being double covered by Brasky and mini-Ditka?

Always Tacopants.
I agree on Brasky though. I know he's still in 3rd grade, but holy shit, two more months and he will be moved up to 4th. We need to get in on this kid NOW before everyone else does, or before he thinks we're not showing him any love.
FWIW, his mom said he has a Michigan lunchbox.

I hear Brasky once inhaled a seagull!
Brasky makes all women he sleeps with refer to him as Bear Bryant.
That shows some fine leadership.
None of you misunderstand that he is now a verbal silent commit.
MATHS
None and prefix of "mis" cancel, producing:
"he is now a verbal silent commit."
Verbal and silent cancel, producing:
he is now a commit.
