What about Warinner, the "X" Factor for our Preparation?

Mates,

I haven't seen this discussed, and if it has it was given short shrift, but what about the secret weapon we have with Ed Warinner on our sidelines?  I analogize it to the Lions actually beating New England this year despite the fact that the Lions are the most pathetic franchise in the history of sports.  Matt Patricia knew every possible tendency, audible, etc and that had to be a huge factor in pulling off a victory.

Michigan has a lot of the pieces in place and I think an excellent chance to beat ohio, even down there in the shoe. But above and beyond all that, we have Warinner to tell us where the bodies are buried.  I'm thinking he's worth a score all on his own.

So the question is:  How much impact and in what fashion do you think Warinner helps us prepare for 'The Game'?

This also means osu will know Eds, tendencies as well. I do think he can give us much more valuable info, than they can take from him being here though.

He knows Urban. He knows what he likes to call in certain game situations. He knows what his go to is. Its probably not much more than what the guys that are scouting tendencies already know but he may have some insight.

The difference that Ed Warinner is going to make in this game revolves around his direct coaching of that O-line. He does not have game-changing information on OSU.

I think Shea Patterson being on Michigan's side is the big deal in this game. If his teammates step up and join him and make the plays Shea puts them in position to make Michigan will probably win.

Glad Warinner is in UM's huddle this year.

But this Ohio State team is unrecognizable from the 2017 team that rushed for 226 yards and 4.7 ypc and from the 206 yards and 4.1 ypc Ohio State gained vs. Michigan in 2016.

This Ohio State team just throws and throws.

They are coached offensively by Kevin Wilson, former Oklahoma OC and Indiana HC.  Co-offensive coordinator Tim Beck joined Tom Herman at Texas.

This Buckeye team beat Penn State by 1 pt on the road, and rickety Maryland by 1pt on the road. They were in a dogfight with Nebraska, and struggled until the 3rd Qtr with both Minny and MSU until they broke away in 4th qtr

Under Kevin Wilson Ohio State is now pass-centric. They just chuck the ball to McLaurin or Campbell and let them run 80 yards for TDs. or they bomb it to Benjamin Victor or KJ Hill.

Ohio State's OL sucks comparatively this year to prior years. But in pass protection they are good enough - only given up 16 sacks for -75 yards.

Forget Indiana or Northwestern. Under Kevin Wilson OHIO STATE is THE NEW BIG10 CHAOS team!
