Michigan vs. Everybody?
December 28th, 2023 at 7:08 PM ^
If you bet on Everybody, get points.
December 29th, 2023 at 7:32 AM ^
Based on that data, a quick non-scientific calc of the entire US population says that 70-75% are with Michigan.
Which tells me that 95% of the entire US population could give a flying fuck about cheeseburgers or signgate.
Pay attention to this data you dickholes at the NCAA & Tony Petit-pipi. Stop chasing your golden goose around the farm with a fucking baseball bat. Bama/Michigan will be the highest rated CFB game of all time. It will be eclipsed when and if we play Texas.
December 29th, 2023 at 9:47 AM ^
gonna be crazy when all the investigations end the minute Harbaugh heads to NFL.
Obviously, I would like JH to stay at Michigan for many more years, but there is a big part of me that just wants to see how him leaving would essentially end the witch hunt in AA.
December 29th, 2023 at 6:45 PM ^
It won’t that much. The weak leadership will be there to stay. That’s why they got picked on. And the weak leadership convinces harbaugh to leave. Offer Harbaugh all the money you want, but what would make a bigger difference is firing Warde. How many of you want to work for a boss that doesn’t support you and is a barrier to success?
December 29th, 2023 at 6:44 PM ^
Your anger is directed to the wrong place. Be mad at Michigan “leadership” for not having the stones to fire Warde, not having the stones to fight back against the NCAA, Big Ten and OSU. They pick on Michigan bc wee the only school that actually recognizes the governance of the NCAA. College football is all collusion, politics, etc. Which sucks enough, because it all were fair I think Michigan would crush it. But it’s on the UM leadership to ADJUST and not approach football how they think it should be, but instead how it is. And Warde is the worst in that as we are already waaaaay behind in NIL and will catch up when it’s too late. So Michigan is either to ignorant or stupid to play the politics game with college football and being “pure” is only a detriment to themselves, and weak leadership is using it as an excuse
December 29th, 2023 at 8:19 AM ^
I'm so confused!!!
December 28th, 2023 at 6:36 PM ^
I do love how Ohio is rooting for Alabama. I completely get it, but it just seems like such a flip from the way they felt about Alabama a couple of years ago while they wanted Harbaugh to stay forever. Anyways, they can go to hell. Go Blue!
December 28th, 2023 at 6:45 PM ^
I don't blame them. If the tables were turned, and we had an incompetent coach that continuously squandered all the advantages gifted to him to our biggest rival, and they were playing Bama, I'd be rooting for the Tide, too.
December 28th, 2023 at 7:20 PM ^
To be perfectly honest I was overjoyed when osu missed that field goal last year against Georgia... It would have been absolutely horrible for them to haven beaten Georgia and then won a National championship...! Screw osu and ohio -- the only thing i would keep is cedar pointe...
December 28th, 2023 at 7:36 PM ^
...it is nice in the shadow of the nuclear cloud there.
December 28th, 2023 at 11:10 PM ^
Never will I understand the conference pride crap. OSU has been great consistently the last 20 years, how has that benefited Michigan in any way? Fuck them.
December 29th, 2023 at 12:20 AM ^
Dude!
Steel sharpened steel!
Ask Harbaugh...
December 29th, 2023 at 5:52 AM ^
This. I've never understood that "You've got to root for your conference" bullshit. No, I really don't. I've hated tosu ever since that POS Woody Hayes was spraying spittle on the sidelines. I have no intention of stopping for a bowl game just because they happen to be in the same conference. Fuck them indeed.
And considering the actions of the B1G toward us this year, and the anonymous whining of the other teams' coaches, the rest of the conference can pound sand, too.
December 29th, 2023 at 6:00 AM ^
^^^^This. I found myself rooting heavy against Rutgers yesterday. That's a first for me. But Schiano can screw himself.
December 29th, 2023 at 6:49 AM ^
not me, fuck Miami and Cristobal
December 29th, 2023 at 10:10 AM ^
That cheer for the conference shit was mastered by SEC fans. They think the conference is one big team. Its sick.
December 29th, 2023 at 10:46 AM ^
The old SEC mantra, "If you can't beat them, ride their jock."
December 29th, 2023 at 1:24 PM ^
Ask Florida St. the same question, conference strength is everything.
December 29th, 2023 at 8:37 PM ^
Clemson has had zero problem getting in the playoff in the ACC
December 29th, 2023 at 12:19 AM ^
Yeah, I did - in 2020!
52-24 bama!
December 29th, 2023 at 12:21 AM ^
There is a reason why Devontae Smith is one of my favorite Alabama players of all time. The way he destroyed OSU in the championship game is one of the more enjoyable things I’ve ever watched.
December 29th, 2023 at 12:56 AM ^
Didn't they have a middle linebacker covering him on one long td?
December 28th, 2023 at 6:46 PM ^
For the same reason Georgia and Florida are rooting for the Good Guys, and Oregon is rooting for Texas. The enemy of my enemy is my friend...
December 28th, 2023 at 7:37 PM ^
Wait, so this is not true....
December 28th, 2023 at 9:14 PM ^
They sure do have a lot of tigers.
December 28th, 2023 at 9:37 PM ^
Three tigers and two bulldogs. The South is boring.
December 28th, 2023 at 9:11 PM ^
Only Oklahoma isn't pulling against their primary rival (or is it split with Nebraska?)
December 29th, 2023 at 1:21 AM ^
December 28th, 2023 at 8:09 PM ^
They can’t beat us so they hope someone else can
December 28th, 2023 at 6:37 PM ^
Living in Washington, it’s sometimes easy to forget that the rest of the country forgets about Washington.
December 28th, 2023 at 6:57 PM ^
Mount Rainier is impressive. I will never forget the sight of that.
December 28th, 2023 at 7:04 PM ^
Coastal range gives Jefferson, Hood, Adams, St. Helens and Rainier. Some nice wineries out here too with views. We have our issues, but beauty is not one of them.
December 28th, 2023 at 7:11 PM ^
That was my first time seeing a volcano. I've been to Rocky Mountain National Park. It's incredibly impressive, but the sight more like a tall ridge with elevated peaks throughout. Seeing Rainier just...there is a different experience.
December 28th, 2023 at 7:23 PM ^
I've spent a good amount of time in Colorado's mountains, but Rainier has a singular impact that's really quite unique. I think it's at least partially because Rainer's base is so much lower in elevation than the typical 14er in CO.
Rainier is the fourth most prominent mountain in greater North America. Mt. Elbert, the highest peak in Colorado, is #23 on the list, approximately 4000 feet less in prominence.

December 28th, 2023 at 11:13 PM ^
you are right, It is also the magnitude of the glaciers and it being a strato volcano too.
December 28th, 2023 at 8:48 PM ^
If by issues you mean homelessness and drugs, I literally just walked past three separate groups of homeless people preparing meth to smoke in view of any passer by. This is a five block walk from my office to the bus. And I avoided the 3rd and Pike shit show. So, yeah, we got problems.
December 28th, 2023 at 9:43 PM ^
Yeah, I did notice the huge drug/homelessness problem. A lesser but still crucial problem: ten-twelve bucks for a draft at the bars near my hotel. What the fuck? A plus is the vast game arcade near my hotel that had cheaper drafts and a Sopranos pinball machine. That machine is in my top 5.
December 29th, 2023 at 11:26 AM ^
I hope the Addams Family top the list.
December 28th, 2023 at 7:09 PM ^
Haha Yaup. Tucked away in our little corner. Country ignores us, and I’m thankful for it.
I hate UW with a passion btw, I hope UT rolls.
December 29th, 2023 at 12:21 AM ^
You're joining the B10 now.
That's over!
December 29th, 2023 at 11:27 AM ^
Yeah. It's a real family here in the B1G.
December 28th, 2023 at 6:39 PM ^
lol @ OR and OH
December 28th, 2023 at 6:46 PM ^
Don't show that to Reddit because I don't think there's a human being that doesn't support Michigan that's wanting our team to win. On the CFB sub based on comments alone it seems most people are supporting Washington.
December 28th, 2023 at 11:45 PM ^
If you want a place that knows little about ball but thinks they know a lot, go to /cfb. Also they'll overlook a lot of other, more effective 'cheating', for reasons. TBH, i don't think they like the dominance of their click link games, which is more on a lot of their minds than the real cfb oligarchs.
December 28th, 2023 at 6:48 PM ^
Are you sure that isn't the College Football Risk map?
December 28th, 2023 at 6:50 PM ^
Haha, Ohio being so salty is hilarious.
December 28th, 2023 at 6:54 PM ^
That does stand out; the entire north...except for Ohio.
December 28th, 2023 at 9:06 PM ^
Even in what for them would be better times, they would never cheer for us, and I would have it no other way. They are that rare combination of poor winner AND poor loser, and their collective misery, which arises from that, suits them down to the ground.
December 29th, 2023 at 9:59 AM ^
Well put!
