TomVH: Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix Update

Submitted by TomVH on

The most recent report about Dr. Phillips safety Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix (6'2", 190 lbs, 5 Star) was that he was "100% sure" about his decision to be committed to Alabama. There were conflicting reports, however, because Clinton-Dix was supposed to make an unofficial visit to Michigan with his teammates for the Illinois game. That trip was then in question, until today. I asked Ha'Sean if he still plans on coming up to Michigan with his teammates, and his response was a simple:

Yes.

I then asked if that meant that Michigan still had a chance since he would be paying to make a trip back up to Michigan, and the answer was the same, yes. This could get interesting. Clinton-Dix is the number one ranked safety according to Rivals, and number ten overall in the country.

Count me as one who gets annoyed when they hear "snake oil" referring to Coach Rod. Saying so is being like that little bitch Danny Hope when Rod got Roundtree. There is no snake oil... he is simply selling the merits of the entire program, and GREAT they are.  Calling it snake oil is not only dismissive but is slightly demeaning.

I don't think most people on this board intend to use it in the fact that RR is a negative recruiter in any way. It's just funny to me, and most people because Danny Hope is an idiot... much like his choice of words after losing Roundtree.

I can't believe you called Tiller and Hope a chach.  They are the least chachi looking people I've ever seen.  Do you know what that term means?

Chachi - Ridiculously in poor taste; CHEESEY, TRASHY, TACKY.

Purdue coaches are so white bread that chachi is the last adjective I would use to describe them.

I think if he sees how much the players enjoy being here, how excited they are for the future, and the clear fact that he would be starting next year will ultimately sell it for him.
