Pre-Game Superstitions?
I've always thought that superstitions were ridiculous and unscientific. What some fan posts online or wears, or does before the game doesn't impact the game in the slightest.
However, I had got into a routine this season where before the Michigan game I would do my family's grocery shopping and since Jersey Mike's was right there I would eat in there first before shopping and then make it back in time before kick off. I did it before every game this year...except the Michigan State game. Michigan is 11-0 this year when I do this and 0-1 when I don't do this.
I don't even want Jersey Mike's today, am a bit tired of the place, and I still think superstitions are dumb, but I almost feel compelled to go and eat a sub anyways just because 11-0 when I do it and 0-1 when I don't do it.
Do any of you have any pre-game superstitions?

If Michigan loses and I find out later that one of you SOBs changed whatever you did last week, there are going to be problems.
If you watched The Game through the display glass outside a Best Buy in Hoboken, N.J., you best get your ass back to Hoboken and watch it through the same glass.
If you have been sent to prison since last week and can't get back to your sofa, break out.
If you were in prison last weekend and watched in the rec room but have been released since, break back in.

Lol a week old superstition… watched the game in the bedroom last weekend, Michigan sweat top and a Michigan toque… I haven’t taken the touque off all week except for sleeping… wife asked “ are you ever going to take it off “ … yes I said and left it at that and left it on my 60 year old head …. GO BLUE!!!!!!!

I've got a quarterback who puts his socks on backwards. Has since high school. I've got a line backer who has not washed his jockey strap in two years because he thinks flies are lucky.

Starts on Friday (No Caffeine Friday) in bed by 10:30 Friday night. Early morning Saturday workout. After Gameday and then captin and coke for my pregame drink. then watch The Team get to work! I’m also 0-1 when I don’t do this. At my workout right now!

None. Players play and fans support ( or don’t). No fan ritual changes the outcome. It’s all about the skills and will of the team.

Supporting the team by being in the stands, being loud and making it hard for OSU to call plays, yes. What they wore, drank or passed thru their colons while watching in a mirror, no.

Same. I’ve avoided it for years after a loss and someone making snide comments. Last year I stupidly wore UM gear the day of the MSU game. I threw the sweatshirt away because I never wanted to see it again and I liked that sweatshirt. I don’t want to lose any more UM gear.

I am the same!!! This year for the 1st time this season I wore a Michigan shirt to a friend's to watch the MSU game... I thought there was no way they would lose.

Like most people on this blog, my diet consist only of beef, coffee and cigarettes. So as you can imagine, most of my time at home or the homes of others is spent in the can. But not a lot of people have TVs in the their bathroom. Whatever… So I worked out a series of mirrors all facing each other at different angles with the last one facing my 1950s tube tv and I keep the door open with the volume on high. I’ve watched every game like this for decades and although I’ve been disappointed at times, i feel this is correct way to watch the team.

Watched every game solo except MSU. My sparty buddy wanted me to invite people over for this one...NOPE.
I had pizza every football game this year as well EXCEPT I made beer brats against OSU (victory pizza for dinner). Not sure how I should proceed today. Beer brats for lunch and pizza during the game?

Superstitions are fucking stupid.
But now that it's brought up, I stopped wearing Michigan gear during games a couple years ago. Weird, I know. I also stayed off of the board during last weeks glory and...that will probably stay the same today. Also just an overall good move in general.

Nothing special for me. During the game, I have been wearing my Maize hoody and a pair of gloves, which I take off in the 4th quarter because my hands are sweating. This routine has been working ever since the MSU loss.

The jersey I bought over the summer is 4-0 when I’ve worn it this season, including last week. I’ve happened to wear the same jeans along with it. Wearing both today. My record in both Michigan basketball and football games when I decide to place an emotional hedge bet is impeccable. Like gotta be near 90%. I’ve teased Iowa up to +17.5 with the under up to 50. Let’s goooo
