Did anyone else hear Klatt mention that JJ had been nursing a shoulder boo boo for the last couple of weeks?  As I recall he made the comment just after JJ floated that pass over DE's head in the first Q.

It was the best offensive line performance since I don't know when.  The guys were firing right at the snap and opening big holes for Corum and Edwards.  JJ was a game manager+, made some great throws but had a few that he can learn from.  But hot damn, JJ's read option was off the charts good.  I didn't see any mistakes there.  All in all a great offensive performance that earned that 41-17 victory.

We really need to start praising JH more for rebuilding Michigan's offensive line.  Its taken a couple coach and 5 or 6 years but they're simply a machine now.

Hiring Mike Hart was easily his best hire.  (other than McDonald :)  )

A) Perhaps the best offensive line in college football combined with perhaps the best RB in college football.

B) Overall game plan was excellent, but there are still times when it seems Michigan tips its plays. Feel like the sequencing needs to be better at times.

C) JJ activated in the run game is a game changer. Very few teams are going to beat Michigan up front when they get a hat on a hat.

D) Offense is dominant up front and it still feels like they have room to improve.

Just manhandled them from start to finish. Are you not entertained?!

Reminiscent of the Washington game from last year in that the opposing secondary is probably their strength, so why play to their strength if you’re able to just run it down their throats? And really it doesn’t even matter what the strength of the opposing team is. If you can run it then you run it.

JJ was a bit off on some of his throws today (first time we really seen him miss a couple easy ones), but today showed exactly how valuable his legs are. That’s simply an element we do not have without him.

If the trajectory of this team and particularly this offense is headed where I think it is, some of that downfield passing will start connecting and when that happens, look out. I can’t help but think of 2014 Ohio State at the end of the year - a dominant run game to go along with the ability to burn you over the top.

If I had one nitpick today and so far this year, I wish that they’d really punish teams when they start keying in on some of our tendencies more often. For example, when we start throwing WR screens and Penn State and other teams are immediately crashing down because they’ve seen it for 2+ quarters already, why not throw a quick pump and go to try to catch them cheating and burn them deep? Or when we have Anthony 1-on-1 on the outside why not throw him a nugget from time to time? I feel like these WRs deserve to eat some too with the amount of quality blocking and work they’ve put in.

Nevertheless, 7-0 in back to back years for the first time since the 70s. Feels good to be back baby.

The game was yesterday and I'm, quite honestly, still in shock.  I had us winning but damn, I never saw 418 on the ground.  Take away the two long ones and you're still damn near 300.  I don't think Penn St is THAT bad.  Our oline is just THAT good and someone on Twitter mentioned doubling Moore's salary immediately.  I'm in agreement.  JJ still getting his "sea legs" about him.  That's to be expected, but he's improving.  If our oline stays healthy and keeps playing like that, and JJ keeps improving, I see no reason at all why we can't go further than we did last year.

Get in loser, the Corum 4 Heisman campaign has surfaced. Meanwhile, Donovan Edwards is BACK. O-line was a beauty, created massive holes regularly. I say it so mild-mannered knowing that my younger Michigan fan self would think he’s in heaven if he had that luxury.

Remember the narrative back when the QB battle happened that if JJ started he would be more prone to getting too cute and making big mistakes left and right? His play now is making that fear look silly. He can play the Cade game too, and better. Some more missed targets which is starting to get pretty discouraging, but he was one fluky turnover away from another game managed with zen-like reliability.

My main concern is the continued predictable play-calling in the redzone like most people.
