Can't edit but that is just…

Can't edit but that is just supposed to say "a fat raise".  Must have fat thumbed an extra 'a' in there and missed it.

Unbelievable.  I was worried…

Unbelievable.  I was worried as hell.  Heart cant take this shit.  Feel like ive been running.

I've said 4-8 since the day…

I've said 4-8 since the day he was hired and I'm not backing off it.

Jokes on you, my bracket was…

Jokes on you, my bracket was never born.

Adamantium?  Vibranium?

Adamantium?  Vibranium?

There was a link on the 247…

There was a link on the 247 Michigan boards to a thread on the OSU boards.  They were talking about Marshall.  Curious to see how that thread is going now.  *Evil laughter*

I would say count Temple of…

I would say count Temple of the Dog as a seperate band so you can include Hunger Strike anyway.

Like I said, fluid situation…

Like I said, fluid situation.  Now You've Got Something to Die For, Omerta, Hourglass and Laid to Rest have all been there.  Omerta may have just taken a spot in the top 5.  It all really just depends on which songs I've listened to recently.

Your list made me think of…

Your list made me think of my own favorites from some of these bands.  Not sure if this qualifies but there is a certain live cover of "All Along the Watchtower" by Dave Matthews that is by far my favorite from them.  "State of Love and Trust" or "Black" by Pearl Jam, can't choose.   Absolutely love "You Could Be Mine" by G'n'R, always turn that one up.

Pain remains is an epic…

Pain Remains is an epic masterpiece.

Edit: Currently on about a year long Lamb of God kick.  Still Echoes, 512, Insurrection, Memento Mori and Walk with me in Hell are my top 5 right now, but it's a fluid situation.

This holding call is not why…

This holding call is not why the Eagles lost the game.  Four plays after the holding call KC kicked a field goal.  Before the holding call KC was already well within field goal range because of a long run by Mahomes.  And lets not forget the Chiefs had 4 drives in the second half.  Three of these drives were 9+ play drives that ended in scores (2 TDs and a FG).  Where was that vaunted Eagles defense we had heard so much about?  The other drive?  A three play drive that covered 5 yards and ended in a touchdown set up by a 60+ yard punt return allowed by the Eagles.  The Eagles only managed three drives for two scores (A TD and a FG) and a three and out (I'm not counting a last second hail mary as a drive).  Did the holding call ensure the Eagles would continually be eaten alive by a simple short return motion that Jacksonville had executed against them earlier in the season?  Did it allow that punt return?  Did it allow the Mahomes run?  Did it make Hurts fumble the ball in the first half for a free TD for the Chiefs?  The Eagles lost the game, that is all.

He says he will bring …

He says he will bring "violence and leadership".  5'11, 215.  Reminds me of a certain badass from a few years back.

I believe, at one point,…

I believe, at one point, someone had mentioned Stanford to get all of northern California.  IIRC they mentioned locking up just the bay area would be worth it.  I, myself, am not well versed in such things so I may be dead wrong on this.

Welp, this thread is going…

Welp, this thread is going about as well as I thought it might after reading half of the OP.

I believe Webb had said back…

I believe Webb had said beginning of January that Partridge was conflicted over uprooting his family again.  Not sure if this was before or after he was *officially* let go at Ole Miss but this was when I started seeing mentions of him coming back to Ann Arbor.  That alone makes me think he's here for a while.  Then the reports of him turning down jobs makes me think this was either his plan once he was let go or he and his wife agreed this was the best course.

2017 recruiter of the year…

2017 recruiter of the year on 247.  He seemed to be a damn good lb coach when he was here.  Coached both Devin Bush and Khaleke Hudson during their breakout years.

Not gonna lie, the way that…

Not gonna lie, the way that ended had me choked up a bit.  That was perfectly done.  Whoever put this together, be proud.

- Josh Allen, probably.

Just gonna leave this here.

Just gonna leave this here.

Word is they won't get it…

Word is they won't get it done until Burgergate is totally resolved.  Apparently this isn't uncommon.  I believe Bacon was the one who said this on twitter.

You mean an erasure.

You mean an erasure.

Watched it, fell asleep for…

Watched it, fell asleep for half of it and didn't miss a thing.  Dumbest movie ever made.

Harbaugh took over that…

Harbaugh took over that recruitment.  He told Jadyn's family he's the lead recruiter.  This was before the news about Weiss dropped per Webb.

They help out with on-campus…

They help out with on-campus recruiting activities but are not allowed to recruit off-campus.

I'm in agreement here. …

I'm in agreement here.  Partridge is a hell of a recruiter and was a pretty good safties coach IIRC.  He coached Metellus who was just made a captain in Minnesota.  Plus if he's torn on uprooting his family my guess would be if he came back he would stay a while. Jay is also a damn good recruiter and seems to do well wherever he's coaching.  I know we want to expand the passing offense but let's face it, that's probably not gonna happen with Jim at the helm.  At least it won't happen as much as we all want.

Saw someone on Twitter say…

Saw someone on Twitter say this is what Sam Webb is hearing will happen.

Fwiw, I don't think moving…

Fwiw, I don't think moving Mike is the answer either.

The 3 on offense.  But our…

The 3 on offense.  But our dline depth is the best its been in....  forever?  Corner is the only concern as the only proven guy coming back we have is Will (unless they move Sainristil out there?) but in Clink I trust.

Honestly, i wouldn't be…

Honestly, i wouldn't be scared to have our entire "2nd string dline" (quotes because the rotation was such that some were basically just 'other starters') start next year.  Moore, graham, grant, mcgregor all looked better and better as the season went on.

He was safeties coach when…

He was safeties coach when he left.  He started his on-field stretch as a linebackers coach though.  Was in an off-field role for one season prior to that.

Kinda makes me wanna hire…

Kinda makes me want us to hire Streeter as qb coach.  He's been coaching that position at Clemson since 2015, I'll let all of you do the math on that.  I don't knock him down because of one bad qb (DJU) when he has that much success beforehand.

Curius to get your thoughts…

Curius to get your thoughts on what Lauren is saying here.

Not sure if this deserves it…

Not sure if this deserves it's own thread or not, mostly because I am totally ignorant of what some of this is about or whether they are all actually even up to Warde to rectify these situations.  But check out what Lauren says here:

I think that's his point. …

I think that's his point.  Coaches like that are a crapshoot.  That's how I interpet it anyway.  There was no evidence whatsoever to suggest any of his examples would be great head coaches either.

According to Todd, its…

According to Todd, its because it's basically pay for play.  Warde doesn't want that at all.  Todd's twitter has been lighting up recently about this.

Judging from the comments…

Judging from the comments and the score I'm glad my mom invited me over to watch the game then proceeded to talk the entire game.  Barely saw any of it.

From yesterday:

I can only imagine what today's events are doing for that team.   A lot of "jokes" about Buffalo dropping an absurd amount of points on New England this Sunday.  While not probable, the very notion that jokes are being made about any facet of this situation at all is a testament to how far it's progressed in a positive direction.  Kudos to all involved in his care, words can't begin to sum up the job they've all done.

"I'm not cooperating with…

"I'm not cooperating with these hypocritical pricks, suspension be damned.  And if Warde has a big enough problem with it, I guess I won't be welcome back."

- Jim Harbaugh's thoughts, probably

There was a tweet that…

There was a tweet that talked about this.  Said if he gives a definitive answer his (brother's) agent loses all leverage in negotiating anything at all for a new contract.

That's exactly where I…

That's exactly where I learned it.

Coley Harvey reporting he is…

Coley Harvey reporting he asked, "who won the game?".

Edit*  Not gonna lie, when I heard the news this morning he had opened his eyes I was a little verklempt.  This is the only news I've been really waiting to hear.  Can't imagine how the family, team and the organization felt hearing that.  Granted he's not out of the woods yet, this has to feel so, so good for them.

I support this.

Problem with that is if (and I emphasize 'if') this keeps happening the portal won't fill holes anymore either.  What transfer is gonna show up knowing theres a very real possibility the staff won't be there the following year?

Had a coworker this morning…

Had a coworker this morning actually say this.  He told me there is noise to it and told me to do a search.  When I searched it (to humor him because I was incredulous) and found nothing he did his own search and found.... nothing.  I laughed.
