Don Brown got schooled like a little bitch tonight.  Any one heard of Handler? 2 man coverage bombs on safeties.

really fucking brilliant Donald!

All comes down to the fact that we dug another huge hole. I honestly thought I couldn’t feel emotion when Michigan played anymore. But those bastards got me. I still do care.

I'm sure the blame will be directed elsewhere but in a game where we were down the whole game, trailed by 21 at one point, and we're never closer than 7, we still ran the ball 50% of the time and didn't throw the ball into the end zone a single time till our last 2 offensive plays. I don't know how you think you're going to win a game like that.

This, this, a million times this.

God, I hated those two runs on first and second down when they really needed a touchdown. Screw you Gattis/Harbaugh.

Best game we played so far but still stupid ass mistakes and absolutely stupidity by our coaching staff.  Daxton barely played the first half and shocker played the second half and our defense was almost lights out.  Hill should have been on KJ all fucking game and Don Brown showed his stubbornness there.

Harbaugh fucked us with some just dumb fucking moves.  Not going for it on 4th and 1 on the opening drive.  The field goal try before the half: either go with Nordin or just fucking go for it.  3 dumbass 3rd and short running calls.  No way those came from Gattis, that had Harbaugh all over it.  Burning a time out on that last replay.  Stupid.  It was a clear first down and with KJ being injured either injury timeout or PSU has to burn their own time out which would have atleast forced a punt.

Not to mention...Sucks that Bell didnt catch that ball but also let's look at DPJ shit first half where he dropped 2 fucking key passes that would have made Bells drop irrelevant.  Or Lavert Hills useless PI on 3rd and long.

This team is mentally weak and facts are facts....its on Harbaugh plan and simple.

25-14 on first downs, 417 to 283 in yards, time of possession 37+ to 22+ all to Michigan yet we found a way to lose yet again. When both your offense and defense is predicated on playing near perfect football all game long with college players this will happen more often than not. All you will hear is moral victories and blaming Brown for a few bad coverages and yet this abysmal offense will be just one poor Ronnie Bell catch away from perfection. Penn St was gassed on defense and we wet the bed again in the red zone.

I like punting in plus territory. I also enjoy watching safeties, linebackers, and defensive linemen cover 5’9 speedsters. I even find going hurry up to smash the ball into the right guard’s ass to be amusing.

Something to build on. Gattis offense took a while but is beginning to work. I don't like the defense giving up big plays. If you took away those big plays and some of the bad ref calls we would have won. If we can build on this offensive performance, I think we can beat ND at home and give OSU a game!

Yes, mistakes were made and the first half was not good.  But in the second half, the offense kind of found itself.  The play calling was more cohesive and worked where we could win match ups.  Screen passes that worked!  So, hard to overcome a 21 point deficit, but this is something to build on for ND.  Maybe the point where the offense turned the corner.  We’ll see what the next game shows.

Decent effort. . .but. . .I have the feeling the better team lost.  Who is too blame?

As in so many big games, Don Brown's defense comes up short.  The EZ td to Hamler, then you can't stop 'em when backed up on the three and you know they are gonna run.

Dumb call on the long FG at the end of the first half. . .

Too many dropped passes. . .

One horrible throw by Patterson. . .

Now another endless week of Harbaugh as laughing-stock and Patterson sucks----this is what happens when you consistently fail in the big games.

I'm sure the play-calling on the last series will be nit-picked to death, but the consistent team failure in big games is more to do with some ingrained program weakness than an x's and o's thing.  For whatever reason, against good teams Harbaugh's players routinely fail when the chips are down.  Even an easy to catch td pass clangs off the players' hands and falls to the ground.

Maybe a player will have to elevate the program. . .so in that regard, maybe it is time to switch to McCaffrey.  This season is over.  Ler's see if McCaffrey has the x-factor this team needs.  But I doubt Harbaugh has the courage to make that decision.

Players have to make plays.  Maybe not the best coached game but DPJ dropped a couple of passes and Bell dropped a TD at the end.  At some point, it's up to the jimmy's and joe's.

I give credit for Michigan playing better and winning the second half of this game, and really the last 40 minutes.  Shea was a baller who gave everything he had tonight and extended plays including the last offensive play where he put the ball on where it should have been caught.  Would have liked to see Dax Hill try to cover Hamler.  That might have worked better.

Not a ton to critique about the coaching in this one as if players make plays, we might have won this one. There were a few head scratchers though: 1. Having to burn a timeout on the very first play of the game, 2. Trying a field goal with a kicker that hasn't shown he's capable of hitting one that distance (why not go for it if they are going to get the ball on the 40 anyway), 3. Burning the last timeout on an absolute no win challenge. They would have had to punt with 20 some odd seconds left.

Overall pretty good.  I also saw some animation out of Harbaugh.  Things are coming together, but just a little too late in the season.

Harbaugh ran the clock out with 4 minutes left instead trying to score quick.

That 1970's mindset is over. Get someone in here with some smarts

I don't expect PSU to lose 3 games and also  for OSU to lose 1 before the game

so, that's it.  Not a championship team.

Now it's just about beating the rivals

wish he'd have caught that.  we outplayed them.

1. Need urgency from the start. Stop sleepwalking until behind.

2. Excellent 2nd half adjustments.

3. Brown is still too predictable.

4. Harbaugh had a little fire.

5. UM dominated the game in the 2nd half but 14 points is not much to show for the dominance.

Secret play that swung this game?  That 65 yard net punt that Gillikin absolutely boomed.  They were on their 25 and we started the next drive on our own 10.  Had a decent drive, gained 30 yards, and then it died.  If that's even a 45 yard net, we can go for it or kick a long field goal.  Instead forced to punt around our own 40.

I think I'm just tired. This loss hurts, but whatever. The team bounced back, and fell short. Everyone is going to circle the wagons on the Harbaugh hot seat, and while the coaching wasn't perfect...

This fucking program is cursed. There's nothing that will make it better. Sometimes Ronnie Bell catches that ball. Sometimes he doesn't. Tonight he didn't. Most times, it seems, he doesn't. Since 2006, most times, things don't work out for Michigan, and that's just the way it is.
