OT-Friday Night-Let's Drink to the End of EA Vote Thread
Someone always starts a drinking thread, and its already 5:05 on the West Coast without one.
So? What are you drinking?
I'm going to pop open a Stone "Enjoy By 4/1/13" IPA. Hoppy Goodness, available for only a short time.
Also, I will be so glad to not hear about voting anymore.
Go Denard. If he looses out to that dude from TAM, so be it. At least he'll still be Denard, and at least I'll be drinking really good beer. I hope the same for all of you.
Go Blue. Go enjoy your weekend.
But now a friend is coming over to do a power hour so I'm sadly switching to coors light
PBR, and it's going down smooth too. I love college football, and forgive me for asking, but who is this Swoope guy?
Anybody got any movie recommendations? I'm thinking recent-ish (last 15 years) movies that flew under the radar.
For example, I watched "Win win" starring Paul Giamatti a few days ago and was very pleasantly surprised.
Any suggestions?
Labatt, by the way. Always labatt.
EDIT: Also, see "We Need to Talk About Kevin" Superb acting, chilling, stirring movie.
Bernie from last year with Jack Black was fantastic. A strangely upbeat dark comedy based on a true murder in a small Texas town. The film is an unusual mix of actors, interviews with the real towns people, and towns people playing themselves in the movie.
Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol is super fun.
Bronson and Valhalla Rising are both pre-Drive Nicholas Winding Refn movies that are relatively recent. Bronson is a very strange character piece about a notorious British prisoner, played here by Tom Hardy. Structurely a very weird movie, but I reallly liked it. Valhalla Rising is a really ponderous movie about Vikings and Christian missionaries going insane in the wilderness. Really awesome, but it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea.
Michael Douglas and Annette Benning. The wife//gf wil like it as well!
Double Crooked Tree. Yum.
So did Denard win?
Well, no drinks for me as I'm at work. But there's definitely some humor and idiocy to be had in the shares of the vote, from a die-hard Ag lobbyist Rob Thomas Barnett with some suckeyes and little-bro's thrown in the mix.
A lot of voting for the SEC, not for Swope and North vs South.

Sierra Nevada's Ruthless Rye. It comes with my full endorsement. Great night with friends.
Good morning, moderate hangover!
"Come morning.."
What are you, just leaving the strip club for some aftys or what?! Good Lord!
