Well the AL West was actually worse, so was the NL West and NL East. Don't forget the Tribe were in the play-in-game and the Royals competed for the Wild card.

So what now in all seriousness??? We are running out of time on Miggy's contract. We have maybe the most useless long term deal in baseball right now with Fielder. Hunter's time is about up... One year left with Martinez... Next year feels like all or nothing to me at this point.

Extend Austin Jackson ASAP (he had a poor postseason but he has all the tools you want as a CF and middle of the order hitter)

Let V-Mart walk after 2014 and move Prince to full time DH and hope he becomes Big Papi 2.0

Either Trade Max this off-season or let it all out and hope we win the WS next year. If the latter is the case then we're only getting draft pick compensation for him, which isn't terrible the Cardinals are sure glad Pujols left because they used that draft pick on rookie stud Michael Wacha.
