Urban and company have a lot of questions to answer.

I have to agree with the buckeye fan on this one. As much as i wanted to hate on OSU for that incident, the way it was first presented was like he absolutely went Pacquiao on the woman with a right cross. After seeing the video it was a lot tamer than that. The woman did seem to be the one escalating the confrontation. Hyde should've had greater restraint, but the media did blow the incident out of proportion a little.

Absolutely a knee-jerk reaction. Would have been swept under the rug if it wasn't for an individual posting information on a sports message board. Urby hides the crime all the time.

Even without the DV charges and previous incidents which are of course dealbreakingly awful, Zach Smith was widely considered to be a bad-to-mediocre WR coach even by most OSU fans.  And he basically acted the fool as well.  And while there are lots of unflattering and probably not untrue things you can say (and good heavens we have) about Urban Meyer, he's never struck me as someone who suffers fools gladly

You're right but I should probably have rephrased my earlier post to clarify but imagine my surprise when I COUDLN'T EDIT MY POSTS.

*ahem*

What I meant was that even if we assume the worst about Larry Johnson, Greg Schiano, and Kevin Wilson (which I'm fine with), they're all very good at coaching the footballs so, if you leave out the potential baggage, they've at least earned their keep as coaches.  Zach Smith... hasn't.

So his first domestic violence incident occurred when he was a GA for Urban at Florida.  He then has another in 2015 while entrenched as Urban’s WR coach at OSU.

The ONLY reason they fired him is because it got public attention.  I’d be infuriated if Inwere an OSU fan.  1. Because that’s really scummy, and 2. He’s an average at best position coach.

He's been a well known piece of shit person but they keep him until it becomes too public that he's an abuser. Classic ohio, who also has Meyer and Schiano on staff lmao

It is basically the same as what is going on with Izzo and Dantini. It would have gotten 10 times the coverage at Michigan and Beilein and Harbaugh would have already been fired. OSU and MSU receive preferential treatment from the Big Ten and from the media.

How can we return to OLD FORMAT? After several months of frustration, I am reaching walk away level. Does anyone else share this view.
