NCAAFB Night Game Open Thread
I've brought up the Purdue potential to upset. I'm sticking with it. I'm watching that game, and it's already starting well. I'll be going local in the late late shift. Tech is playing at Houston, and I couldn't afford get tickets.
Discussion starts here.

i just saw charlie weis call a play to try and save his job... cmon purdue.

can the schematic advantage come through for the win? Yes, purdue needs a miracle now, and it looks like danny hope just spit some tabbacky out of his mouth.

rofl that timeout was hilarious.

dear purdue coaching staff: that's on you. why the timeout?
September 26th, 2009 at 11:24 PM ^
Why spike the ball when your opponent has an ill-advised time out left?
September 26th, 2009 at 11:22 PM ^
36 seconds is plenty of time to call a pass play, run it, and then run your 4th down play if necessary.
Unnecessary panic if Blackledge was coaching.
Dang, looks like Charlie's going to live a few more weeks.

Well, Weis hanging on to his job isn't the worst thing in the world.

How stupid to call a timeout.

Hope went to the Bielema school of running out the clock

After beating USC, Washington is now losing to Stanford. College football is hilarious.

TT/Houston game is crazy good fun - although I don't like running a draw on 3rd and 12.

I'm hoping being in PSU territory tonight has all kinds of fun written all over it. Not that I'd talk stuff on them, I just want some tears with my beer.
September 26th, 2009 at 11:41 PM ^
to point out which bad referree calls cost PSU the game.
September 26th, 2009 at 11:47 PM ^
That will be funny to listen to, however, I don't know how you say PSU should have won that game at all. Iowa's defense looked dominant for most of the night.

Damn you Danny Hope!!!
