Date Title Body
03/25/2018 - 6:41pm Both should get an evaluation

But to be honest, I doubt either is a first-rounder. Matthews needs to work on his shooting (really needs to) and Wagner just can't defend in the NBA.

12/16/2017 - 3:10pm Leave him where he is

It obviously was not working for him in Ann Arbor and he is doing well in Detroit. I am happy for him, really.

12/13/2017 - 1:30am no way in the world

Just nope. Not worth the risk.

12/09/2017 - 1:15am a high school making allegations against a student

Like this is just so fucking sad. Having grown up in that area, good fucking lord I hate it.

11/20/2017 - 3:39pm the first great buckeyes receiver I remember

RIP.

11/11/2017 - 2:33pm seeing as she is Puerto Rican

Good chance they were planning on marrying in Puerto Rico and things fell through with the hurricane.

Good for him and both families.

09/07/2017 - 2:45pm Thank you

Just in time for the second half. You can watch on Watch ESPN too btw (most probably know that but just in case).

08/07/2017 - 11:07am this mo hurst shout

Mo Hurst? Okay, he wasn’t a starter. He was just one of the most devastating penetrators inside in college football. Just saying.

love it.

04/14/2017 - 11:05am Very happy to see this

It made me sick to read they had been stolen earlier. Happy they are back.

04/03/2017 - 3:18pm stay at harvard, tommy

He should stay at Harvard and just keep doing his thing there. I don't see him as a major program coach.

04/03/2017 - 1:15pm my only objection to RedPa

Is we have nothing like Sandusky in the program (thank God).

Otherwise, I agree, and I am absolutely not saying Brian was insinuating anything of the sort involving Red, but the first thing I think of when I think of Joe Paterno is turning a blinde eye to Sandusky.

03/27/2017 - 10:50pm didn't work out quite ideally for him here

But I wish him all the best going forward.

03/21/2017 - 7:27pm if he can guard at an nba level

If he can guard at an NBA level and hit threes without turning the ball over, then maybe he can be a backup point guard somewhere. But the position is absolutely stacked right now, so it will be a challenge. The best case scenario would be a Steve Blake-ish career, but Blake did have a couple inches on him...

03/17/2017 - 2:35pm i can't feel my face

Fuck, that was a game. I cannot believe we shot that well, nor can I believe that shooting that well was what it took to win the game.

03/15/2017 - 4:47pm ugh

Obviously everyone deserves to have the facts heard, but my general response is ugh.

03/13/2017 - 2:05pm they won a conference trophy

Yes, that is a success.

03/11/2017 - 10:09am I worry about tired legs for us

I worry about tired legs for us on our jumpers. It would be a shock to have a particularly good shooting game. However, hopefully it's enough and we can squeak it out. If we can avoid ridiculous foul trouble and play good defense, I think we can get it.

12/29/2016 - 2:49pm despite his deserved dismissal

I am happy that he kept it together enough to graduate.

12/13/2016 - 12:29pm Keep fighting, Larry

Even as a grown man, the human spirit shown by Larry and kids like Larry is an inspiration.

11/29/2016 - 9:58pm outside of cfp

I want to grind FSU into a dust so fine Jimbo snorts it before his halftime talk and then explodes.

11/28/2016 - 11:00am McGary is already just about done

And Burke isn't far behind. Frankly, not sure either of them had the best mentality/maturity for the NBA, which is sad.

11/12/2016 - 1:43pm he plays no defense

His problem is still and will be his defense is just so shaky it is hard to have him on the floor.

10/28/2016 - 10:59am good for him

That defense is playing well. Good for him finding success.

10/17/2016 - 12:50pm what on earth are you on about?

The vaunted honor of driving the headline of a UV post? She's a minor media personality with a good twitter game, and part of the CFB blogosphere. She said something that fits into the larger piece. Fin.

07/19/2016 - 11:14am Agree with Brian

Crable over David Harris is just silly. David Harris was a monster here and has gone on to a very nice NFL career.

05/26/2016 - 6:19pm it's Whitlock

Trash, reprehensible human being.

04/27/2016 - 3:45pm As pissed off as I am about the debacle against OSU

I wish Durkin well with his future coaching. Just so long as he doesn't beat Michigan.

04/11/2016 - 1:23pm i'm all about boring safeties

please be a boring safety.

04/06/2016 - 11:46am i was pretty disappointed with his play this season

Seems like something did not click with development or something, because it was kind of unusual how he looked this year vs. last year. A bummer. I hope he has a good career at UCF playing for Pops.

02/04/2016 - 4:05pm I would imagine he hoped it would not be zero

Because, you know, criticizing your workplace isn't a great way to stick around. Why is this even a question? And why are you outing a guy who wants to be anonymous and was a great player for this university? Someone writing about a very real problem that is relevant today. Assuming you're even right.

Because you're a selfish prick trying to show how smart you are in figuring it out. That is the most likely answer.

Fuck you.

02/04/2016 - 3:53pm I am really psyched about the potential for two TE sets

With Asiasi and Eubanks down the road. Sounds like a mismatch nightmare for defense. Also super psyched about the prospect of a TE who blocks well for years to come. BIG get.

02/03/2016 - 7:13pm MCDOOM

Purely because of the name.

Also Walker.

01/06/2016 - 11:19pm i'm all for any player leaving who doesn't want to play

He is set financially and then some, and living with pain when you're older just isn't worth it anyway.

01/06/2016 - 3:40pm holy crap O'Korn's chin is magnificent

Harbaugh-esque in the chin department. Truly spectacular. Good hair too. I would vote for him for team captain or really whatever.

12/30/2015 - 1:32pm that IS a wonderful vine

thanks Brian.

12/11/2015 - 1:06pm get healthy young man

What would be worse than this press release would be to learn that he had done permanent damage to himself that would affect his quality of life in the future. Good luck with your rehab, Spike, and especially with your future. You gave us all some great memories.

12/04/2015 - 6:15pm Glad to hear you're in

Glad to hear you're in remission!

12/04/2015 - 6:14pm Hodgkins Lymphoma is usually better than the alternative

(non Hodgkins) but I said the same thing after Flip Saunders got his diagnosis. You never know.

Anyway, I wish James all the best. Awful disease, but treatable in most cases. I'll keep him in my thoughts.

12/02/2015 - 11:14am honestly don't care at this point

Just hope we have good practice for the bowl game and the seniors have a good last game. Sad what happened in their last game at the big house but sometimes life is like that.

11/29/2015 - 12:43pm Honestly

I think that going for it is what you do there. Keep playing it out. It was a vanilla play call. That did not bother me.

11/29/2015 - 12:41pm Double post

is double

11/29/2015 - 12:41pm Not much to say

Got fucking crushed in the rivalry game. Felt we were a little unlucky on offense but the defense was a complete failure from scheme to execution.

11/29/2015 - 12:23am I have to admit

Watching ND have a soul shredding loss did make me smile.

11/27/2015 - 10:58pm different for different kids (of course)

But probably around the age they can really start playing sports? So I guess for me at least it was around first grade? Just hard for a kid to have an attention span for a whole game without understanding all the rules, etc. Sports also make more sense once you have played them.

Just my opinion as someone who had MIchigan booties as a baby. I wouldn't say I truly grasped it until an ohio state fan screamed GO BUCKS in my face as an 8 year old while walking through the law quad with my dad. First Michigan game. Then Biakabatuka dropped 313 yards on 'em and seriously fuck those guys.

GO BLUE!

11/25/2015 - 11:25am Definitely thought it was a borderline penalty live

And feared a flag. But I think he actually misses Hackenberg's head with his own helmet and it wasn't as bad as it looked. No way would I think targeting, but B1G officials are total *shrugs* on that so who knwos.

Still a double impact for Hackenberg which will usually shake someone up.

11/23/2015 - 3:11pm doublepost is

a doublepost.

11/23/2015 - 3:10pm remember being at the game

when the PA announcer announced his brain cancer. My heart really fell.

RIP young man, and thoughts with the family. Very, very sad.

11/20/2015 - 5:23pm if you haven't yet

Try Medalla. Local beer is cheap and very crisp/refreshing. Also, drink DonQ and not Bacardi...

Jealous. Love that place.

11/20/2015 - 12:00pm The TV is not allowed to be on

And we make baked goods. Mild substance abuse may be involved.

Also: long walks.

I really get way less mad now than I used to, though. I think a lot of it is A. age, and B. realizing that a lot of my anger stems from an addiction to sports coverage, which is pretty easy for me to stem once I recognize it.

11/19/2015 - 4:02pm I am a bit surprised we have 0 defensive linemen on that list

But sure. Kiper has honestly been pretty good throughout the years at predicting where teams will take players.
