Michigan makes Jalen Wilson's top 6
Elite 2019 SF prospect from TX, ranked #28 in 247's composite rankings. Michigan has one of the three Crystal Ball picks so far. Other finalists are Baylor, Kansas, Marquette, Oklahoma State, and UCLA. He is supposed to be visiting this coming weekend, according to reporting from late last month.

And then There were 6.....
I believe if he stays at the #28 national prospect he would be a 5 star. 247 gives 5 stars to the top 30, one for each 1st round NBA draft pick. Unless that is just for football.
EDIT: I am wrong, the 2018 class only had 27 5 stars, my bad.

One crystal ball pick is for Oklahoma, who didn't make the cut. I am guessing that one might switch to 'Foggy'.
I think it's because he has a good friend that is an OU commit, but yeah guessing they change that pick.
of course.
Mr. Wilson appears too smart and savvy to go to that flat, endless wasteland.
He would look awfully good in Maize and Blue. Hope he has a great visit in Ann Arbor!
If you don't go to Michigan.
We want ALL your Jalens!!!
Can he play LT?
Let's hope he makes the right decison and Goes Blue soon!
Probably only going to have 2-3 spots depending on if Matthews and/or Poole delcare for the draft, but we're going after almost exclusively top 50 guys and I've been super impressed by everyone we've offered so far, so I'm excited
guys and add another top 100 player, the train should keep rolling along very nicely. Bball program is just reloading.
It's really not out of the question to get multiple top 50 players
Never thought I'd see the day that Michigan basketball would outrecruit Michigan football.
Does anyone else think that Michigan's improved basketball recruiting might have something to do with the NCAA and FBI investigations into the all the agent and shoe company corruption? With Michigan doing so well this past year, along with so many dirtbags being relegated to their rightful holes in the ground, it might just be the perfect nexus to propel Michigan to recruiting heights that we never thought possible. Go Blue!
You must be young because U-M was a BBall recruiting monster before the stupid sanctions almost 20 years ago.
and the 14th best class in 2013. We're not even at the peak of Beilein's tenure right now.
The 11th ranked class of 2018 merely got us back to those levels. And that's plenty good enough for me. I like being in that range where you're getting a lot of 4 stars that aren't gonna be one-and-done's but are likely to be excellent 3-4 year players. It's the Beilein sweet spot.
Jerry Meyer director of basketball scouting at 247 just put a CB in for Jalen Wilson to Michigan around 7:30 tonight

Were actually leading the crystal ball for a Top 30 recruit. Thats pretty cool
He's ONE spot removed from being a 5 star at #28. Keion Brooks at #27 is the last 5 star who we are also going after.
