You can stop calling them that after the Penn State game. 4 talented wide receivers don’t drop like 8 passes combined to ultimately lose you the game.

The receivers all clearly have deficiencies as well. That being said I do agree with the premise. We gotta throw it more. I was afraid after the ND game that we would be content running the ball 60 times a game, when that will never get you consistent offensive explosion.

Zero hot takes. Harbaugh realizes it was going to be a win. Nothing exotic on either side. Just a win using basic offense and defense.
Now, use these last 10 quarters as a spring board to whoop on the agricultural community college.

Special Teams A-

Defense B- :  Maryland had alot of extended drives by running and beat us to the edge numerous times

Offense B- : Clunky on many drives we look good then awful I don't get it...many inaccurately thrown balls again.  Is this something we try to coach or nah?

At this point in Shea’s career. He’s not the most accurate out there. However, I sill say the young man has the intangibles you look for in a QB. Was a goal line play today he went straight into the linebackers.
This may be the rare optimism. This team is built to upset Ohio State. The defense is hungry and young enough to not realize the BPONE. The offense is growing that the apex will happen on November 30.
The rest of this year, I will be stupidly optimistic.

Wow what the shit was that today ?  This game plan was terrible.  Such a disappointment from last two games.  The Gattis inside zone and spread stuff just absolutely sucks.  Why did we do this ?  Weird

You realize that we won in complete blowout fashion despite pulling our starting QB and many first stringers midway through the third quarter and pretty much running vanilla O and D, right?

This was exactly what we should be doing against a team like this.

Zero complaints.

This team is playing much better since the first quarter of the PSU game.  Fake punt followed by the long bomb to Nico,  players seem ready to play and executing well.  Dominant conference road win.

No real complaints on the calls. Not very aggressive but it’s Maryland so who really cares. Get ready for a big emotional game against sparty and please blow them out!

It was an expected flat performance after an exciting night game. They will have to have these guys playing with more energy at Indiana. The energy level of today's performance is probably an L at Indiana.

I dunno, Maize-Blue, a 31 point win on the road, with Michigan in control the entire game, and the outcome not in doubt from the opening kickoff is somehow a bad thing?

Think about how the team looked the first few weeks, and how they control games now.

My hot take is that maybe the Gattis offense is starting to gel for the players.

It's a 31-point win with Maryland barely cracking 200 yards even with an utterly meaningless final drive netting them 51 against the backups.

It's funny - every fanbase acts like this.  They assume if you don't score on every drive and you aren't executing perfectly each time the team is broken and incompetent.

This game was like Patricia and the Lions beating the Pats last season - Gattis and Locksley played each other.   The difference is UM simply has better athletes and won the game.  And I thought it was going to be a close game.

With that I see UM blowing out MSU, kind of a slow game against Indiana, then OSU blowing UM the hell out

31 point win in a game following an emotional night game. I’ll take it. There wasn’t the same emotional investment to this game as the last couple weeks. It isn’t a bad thing to have an uneventful Saturday win.
