Dude really is the heir apparent for the Warriors.

The "Poole Party" chants in the background. Unreal time for him.

You can make a case that he's been their MVP in the playoffs ... and even dating back to the last month or two of the season. Curry hasn't been himself. Klay isn't the guy he used to be pre-injuries. Despite being an all-star starter, Wiggins is the 4th or 5th best player on the team probably. And Draymond has been outplayed by Kevon Looney this series.

Looney has definitely been a pleasant surprise.  He's really stepped up to provide some defense and been carrying the load on the glass. Even a career best 21 points last night. The timing of his play has really elevated the Warrior's and helped to mitigate one of their biggest weaknesses in lack of height.

Agree, I caught an interview with the Memphis radio or tv analyst before that series and he said that Memphis will be 100% focused on how to slow Curry, he almost made it sound like they didn't even game plan for the other guys offensively.  When Curry was out at the end of the season, GS went .500 or maybe even below .500, which is what they are without him.

Yeah this is a bridge too far I think, it has to be Curry. Last night Curry carried them for long stretches when Dallas was hot. And closing out the second round, Kerr went away from Poole. He only played 24 minutes in the closeout game 6, and wasn't on the floor at the end. But he's been a spark plug again now against Dallas.

Love that he's getting this attention and that he's becoming a household name.

The Poole Party chants are so good.

Go Blue!

There's just nothing like seeing a player who you believed in proving out. It would be foolish to assert that some of us saw him reaching such heights, or this quickly. But I can think of nothing in my decades as an M grad and fan that has put a smile on my face like Jordan Poole has. Sixty-eight percent for the series thus far? Come on!

Good for Jordan!

I mean, for the guy that essentially pushed college lifer John Beilein to the NBA in a fit of rage (for John Beilein, anyway), he has never strayed from that likable kid that everyone wants on his team.  I bet he's really fun to play basketball with - run and gun on the playground all day long!
