With Michigan being very active in the portal, there will be attrition with current players.  The portal giveth and the portal taketh.  At the end of the day, the goal is to end up with a stronger roster, which Michigan seems to be achieving.

On another note, it is pretty impressive what Mora Jr is doing at UConn.  Took them from one of the worst in the country to a bowl game in one season.  And he seems like a pretty good dude.

You have so many relationships in this life
Only one or two will last
You go through all the pain and strife
Then you turn your back and they're gone so fast
Ooh yeah
And they're gone so fast, yeah

I’m sure what he learned here will help him at UConn. I hope he reaches his potential there. I certainly see his motivation to leave after watching a freshman Colston Loveland every day in practice and wondering how the heck he was going to take playing time and targets away from him.

Slightly shocked he didn't go to UMass with Don Brown.

That said, UConn is the better program, he'll do well there. He's got some talent. IMO, he would’ve played a solid role in a couple of years. Can't blame him for moving on, wish him all the best!

I wish him well at UConn.

I think the attrition will be part of the future.  They describe our recruiting class as a group of high ceiling kids.  We will have our Ronnie Bells and we will have our Louis Hansens.
