Honestly, I hope Hoke doesn't think that people have any ill will toward him (well, some might but most don't anyway). To me he seems like a great human being who definitely loves the university and is doing his absolute best in his position. I hope he has a great birthday and life in general, I just hope his days as UM head coach are numbered. I certainly don't harbour any ill will toward a guy who is only guilty of taking his dream job when offered. Have a great day coach and hopefully you can get this team bowl eligible by the end of the season.

Age is just a statistic, I knew I was eventually going to be able to use that line, in a Hoke post, and not feel bad. He really is a great guy and its almost impossible to dislike him.

I was a devout RR guy and I really wanted to hate Hoke, but he's just too good of a guy. It's not his fault DB offered him his dream job. I hope he lands on his feet next year and leads a perennial also-ran to a bowl and a promising future.
